This is an event of particular significance for the domestic capital market – the company is the first private manufacturer of armaments and munitions, including 155 mm artillery ammunition, which is critical to national security, to be listed on the “big board.” It thereby joins the ranks of European defense-sector leaders present on public markets, such as Britain’s BAE Systems, Germany’s Rheinmetall, and Czech companies Czechoslovak Group and Explosia.

It should be recalled that on March 30 this year, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority approved the prospectus of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna, opening the way for the company to enter the Main Market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
Through investments and cooperation with domestic and international industrial and research facilities, the Group is consistently building real production capabilities in Poland and increasing the scale of its operations, strengthening security and continuity of supply for the defense sector.
The expansion of production capacity being carried out by the Group is a direct response to the challenges of the modern battlefield and fills production niches that require flexibility and high efficiency from the domestic defense industry.
The investment in the artillery ammunition plant, including 155 mm ammunition, in Niewiadów has secured financing of PLN 250 million, which guarantees timely implementation of the project. Advanced construction and modernization work is currently under way at the plant’s halls, warehouses, and infrastructure. Installation and commissioning of the previously contracted production lines is planned for Q3 2026, enabling serial production to begin in Q4 2026. The target production capacity of the facilities will be 180,000 rounds of ammunition per year (A complementary “Niewiadów Ammunition Ring” industrial system is being developed).

In parallel, the Group has secured 60 million PLN in financing for a project to build a 40 mm ammunition plant and is prepared to use its technological and production potential in areas requiring a rapid increase in manufacturing capacity, including the anti-personnel mine segment. These directions are in line with the strategy of flexible development and strengthening domestic production competencies in the defense sector.
A key element in the expansion of production capacity in Niewiadów is the use and development of technologies created in Poland by military institutes, with a focus on their commercialization and further improvement. This approach will make it possible to limit future licensing obligations toward external suppliers and represents an important step toward building long-term technological and production independence.
