MSPO 2026: War Hog returns as Steel Hog

What can users expect from Steel Hog? The catalog includes backpacks, bags, and waist packs designed for everyday use both in the field and in urban environments, especially for users who prefer a less military appearance. Made from proven CORDURA NYCO fabric, the designs feature numerous practical solutions that make it easier to carry and organize everyday gear efficiently.

The current lineup includes the Kaiken (18 L) and Dagger (25 L) backpacks, the Claymore (7 L) and Poleaxe (18 L) bags, and the Bastard waist pack. All feature a more urban or sporty appearance than a military one, while still retaining military-style practicality and offering functionality comparable to their “tactical” counterparts.

Steel Hog’s color palette also deserves attention. In addition to universal black and graphite, the products are offered in typically “woodland” shades of green (Olive) and beige (Coyote), as well as in more distinctive, almost autumnal colors: orange (Ginger) and an interesting red with a burgundy hue, which has not yet appeared in the catalog. These are a welcome alternative to the most commonly used colors. I would also be glad to see a pleasant shade of yellow added to the lineup, such as mango or honey. This palette offers an excellent way to move beyond the usual color choices while still remaining within tones naturally found in Polish forests.

The Steel Hog brand should appeal to users looking for equipment with a civilian character without sacrificing functionality. Instead of a black backpack covered in MOLLE/PALS webbing, users can opt for something just as practical but with a much less “aggressive” appearance and a far more visually appealing color palette.
