The new funding coincides with a major business milestone. The company has officially announced a strategic distribution partnership with APN Promise, a distributor that has received Microsoft’s Partner of the Year award multiple times and has extensive implementation experience within the Microsoft ecosystem as well as broad market reach.

AI and Microsoft 365 security in focus

APN Promise opens the door to CEE
Under the partnership agreement with APN Promise, the 1Security product will be made directly available to the distributor’s broad network of IT partners, integrators, and managed service providers (MSPs) across the region.

It will help us bring 1Security to thousands of companies that need to finally close one of the biggest gateways for cybercriminals — poorly managed permissions. Our official partnership with Microsoft and close cooperation with its distributor give us a powerful tool for scaling the business,” adds Mateusz Olek, co-founder of 1Security.
The 900,000 PLN raised is part of the company’s broader financial strategy. Following earlier pre-seed backing of 500,000 USD from Polish-German fund Sunfish Partners, the current bridge round, funded largely with the founders’ private capital, is intended to strengthen the company’s market position, accelerate commercialization in cooperation with APN Promise, and demonstrate business traction that could pave the way for an international equity round in the coming months.
