On September 22–23, 2026, in the Radomyśl nad Sanem area, soldiers of the 32nd Light Infantry Battalion from the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defence Brigade trained jointly with personnel from the 3rd Nisko Engineer Battalion to improve cooperation in reconnaissance and the organization of a river crossing using PTS-M tracked amphibious transporters.

The training began with reconnaissance of the planned crossing area. After crossing the San River, Territorial Defence soldiers from Nisko secured the landing area, creating the conditions for engineer troops to safely continue their operations.
An important element of the exercise was the use of PTS-M amphibious transporters. At the same time, the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defence Brigade’s Imagery Reconnaissance Group conducted operations using unmanned aerial vehicles to observe the exercise area.
The joint training of the 3rd Podkarpacka Territorial Defence Brigade and the 3rd Nisko Engineer Battalion marked another stage in improving interoperability and unit coordination. Reconnaissance and securing of the crossing area, combined with engineer operations, helped develop the ability to cooperate effectively in field conditions.
Sometimes destroy, often build, always serve – the motto of the engineer troops accurately reflects the nature of the joint operations on the San River.
