On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, a ceremony was held at the Polish Army Museum at the Warsaw Citadel to present contracts to representatives of 86 Polish companies that carried out projects for the Polish Armed Forces this year. The event was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka, representatives of the ministry and the armed forces leadership, as well as industry representatives from across the country.

“Ladies and gentlemen, Polish entrepreneurs, scientists, and all those who are building Poland’s strength, the strength of the Polish economy, and our security. Security and the economy go hand in hand. Together, they form this symbolic V for Victory. There can be no victory and no strong state without a strong, stable economy, without tax revenues that can be used to equip the Polish Armed Forces and train Polish soldiers. I would like to thank all of you very sincerely – all Polish entrepreneurs and Polish taxpayers,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.
“Poland is a country capable of contributing as much as possible – this is shown by NATO statistics, with Poland leading in the pace of growth in spending and investment in the defense industry, the armed forces, and security. I am very proud that during my time as Minister of National Defence, this momentum – particularly the development of an economy built around the defense industry – has continued. The SAFE program was undoubtedly an important impulse, one that helped overcome various kinds of barriers. The program itself showed that all obstacles can be overcome, even the largest and most difficult ones,” the Defence Minister said (Polish Armament Agency on the details of SAFE agreements under the single procurement procedure).
“Today, 86 entities gathered here are receiving PLN 350 million in support from the Ministry of National Defence. This is an absolutely record number of companies and institutions receiving support from the ministry. Never before have we had such a large group of entrepreneurs and equipment manufacturers involved. This is Polish taxpayers’ money being invested to maintain production lines, service capabilities, and full readiness. The Polish defense industry must remain fully ready. It must operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That is my view, and I would like to encourage you to pursue it. (…) It is a great honor to cooperate with you. I am counting on your full commitment and on making the most of the favorable window that has opened for the Polish brand represented by our defense industry. It is becoming increasingly recognizable and increasingly attractive, including in new technologies. The state-owned and private companies represented here – because we did not distinguish between them based on ownership structure or majority shareholding, but on usefulness – can also use this opportunity to promote their own brands internationally and, by doing so, promote Poland’s brand as well. (…) Congratulations to all of you. Use these funds as effectively as you can. Please pass on my regards to all your employees,” the Deputy Prime Minister added.
“350 million złoty is not a reward. It is a commitment. A commitment that you, as Polish industry, undertake to cooperate with the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Armed Forces. If a difficult moment comes for all of us, you must be ready immediately to increase production capacity, repair capacity, and employment. One of the assumptions of this program is that, should such a need arise, employment in the companies selected today could increase almost threefold. (…) We are talking about a serious commitment being made by Polish companies. (…) Congratulations. Remember – the challenge and the commitment are significant,” Deputy Minister Magdalena Sobkowiak-Czarnecka emphasized.
