At Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów, a detailed analysis was conducted of the technical documentation for historically manufactured products, and the infrastructure and technological tooling necessary to restore production were prepared. For decades, the Niewiadów plant supplied various types of mines to the Polish Armed Forces, which today provides a solid foundation in terms of expertise and documentation for rebuilding these capabilities.

As part of the preparations, the existing machinery park was adapted, including equipment for cast-filling (pouring) and pressing explosive materials. A plan was also developed for further expansion of production capacity to achieve an industrial-scale output. At the same time, the company secured its supply chain by establishing cooperation with domestic component manufacturers as well as partners operating within international cooperation networks.
In cooperation with the Military Institute Of Engineer Technology, prototypes of anti-personnel mine simulators were developed in both tripwire-activated and pressure-activated variants, forming the design basis for new combat products. The company declares its readiness to offer both mines previously manufactured on the basis of existing documentation and new solutions developed in line with current operational requirements.

“We have completed a fundamental stage in rebuilding technological competencies in the field of engineer munitions. We possess the documentation, technical infrastructure, and experienced personnel that enable us to launch production in a short time. Niewiadów has many years of tradition and genuine industrial capabilities in this area,” emphasized Krystian Gąsior, President of the Management Board of Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów.
The Group also plans to expand its portfolio to include anti-tank mines, leveraging its existing technological expertise and documentation base. The start of mass production using cast-filling and explosive pressing technologies is scheduled for 2027, with the first orders potentially secured as early as 2026.

“The restoration of domestic capabilities for the production of anti-personnel and anti-tank mines is part of a broader effort to strengthen industrial sovereignty and respond to growing needs related to reinforcing NATO’s eastern flank and expanding engineer capabilities. We are confident that, as one of the best-prepared private industrial groups in Poland, we can play a significant role in this process,” said Adam Januszko, President of the Management Board of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna.
According to the company’s management, launching mine production will have a substantial impact on the scale of operations and revenue growth in the coming years, further strengthening the Group’s position in the defense sector.
Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna emphasizes that these actions are part of a long-term strategy to develop competencies in the field of modern engineer munitions and to support national security.
