Niewiadów Group continues the more than one-hundred-year industrial tradition of the facilities in Niewiadów, developing activities in the areas of specialized manufacturing, new technologies, and dual-use projects. Operating within the structure of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna, the company contributes to the development of modern technological and industrial capabilities that address the growing needs of the security and defense market.

The appointment of the new President of the Management Board represents another step in the company’s development and in strengthening the technological and organizational potential of Niewiadów Group within Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna.
Dr. Eng. Przemysław Kowalczuk
He has more than 23 years of experience in the defense and academic sectors, including leadership roles in national and international organizations. He currently oversees the activities of Niewiadów Group and AMC Global Group – organizations focused on developing manufacturing capabilities and supplying military equipment and ammunition.
Until 2024, he was associated with Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), where he was responsible for areas including advanced electronics, ammunition, and missile systems. From 2021 to 2024, he served as Vice President of Grupa Amunicyjna Mesko, overseeing business development as well as the expansion of production capacity and cooperation with international defense partners, including Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, BAE Systems, Boeing, and Rafael, as well as entities of the U.S. Department of Defense. During this period, the company expanded into eight new markets, recorded significant revenue growth, and achieved a several-hundred-percent increase in net profit. At the same time, as a new business line, the company implemented and launched the technology for producing 155 mm artillery ammunition bodies based on a Slovak license.
Between 2022 and 2024, as President and Chief Executive Officer of the PIT-Radwar Group, he was responsible for the development of operational activities and cooperation with foreign partners, including Raytheon Technologies and MBDA UK, in the field of air defense systems, including the Patriot and Narew programs. During his tenure, the company secured new contracts worth approximately 8 billion PLN, expanded into new markets, and increased the scale of its operations.
From 2016 to 2021, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne, a company belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa specializing in military electronics. He was responsible for developing international cooperation, including technology transfer projects carried out with U.S. partners such as Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, L3Harris, Honeywell, and Northrop Grumman. During this period, the company significantly increased both revenue and profit while expanding its order portfolio and completing a new investment involving the launch of a factory producing Naval Strike Missile rockets.
He began his professional career in academia as an assistant professor at Warsaw University of Technology and the Military University of Technology, where he obtained his doctoral degree. At the same time, he carried out management-related projects with technology partners including Microsoft, IBM, and HP.
He has been associated with the defense sector since 2008. In 2012, he joined Polski Holding Obronny as Deputy Director of the Air and Missile Defense Department, participating in the Patriot/Wisła acquisition program and overseeing the integration of business and technological areas as Deputy Chief Technology Officer (Deputy CTO).
His experience combining technological and managerial competencies forms the foundation of his activities in the international defense sector environment.
