The contract covers work in most of the facility’s production buildings. The aim is to adapt the infrastructure for the installation of modern machinery and equipment required to fulfill current and future orders. Completion of the construction work is planned for the second half of September 2027.

The general contractor for the work will be the Polish company Grupa KDM. The involvement of a domestic contractor means that a significant share of the investment value will remain in the Polish economy, strengthening national industrial and construction capabilities.
„In the process of merging PIT-RADWAR and WZŁ No. 2, we made specific commitments regarding the future of the Czernica facility, and today we are consistently delivering on them, including through the investment program. Employment will increase by nearly 50 percent. Czernica has an important role in our plans, including in the context of the San program. This is where tactical and operational communications components are being integrated for all 18 battery modules of the air defense systems. We want the facility to develop, expand its production capabilities, and acquire further competencies. I would also like to thank the social partners for their constructive dialogue and involvement in this process. From the outset, we have emphasized that we want to carry out the Group’s integration with respect for employee rights and with due care for jobs,” emphasized Adam Leszkiewicz, President of the Management Board of PGZ.
The contract marks the beginning of the first stage of a comprehensive modernization of the Lower Silesian facility. The total value of investments in developing the plant’s production and service capabilities will amount to nearly 90 million PLN net.
The investment is of strategic importance in the context of the growing number of orders and the expansion of the Polish defense industry’s production capabilities.
„This is another investment, after Kobyłka near Warsaw, that is very important for the company and linked to expanding our capabilities. We are modernizing and developing our machinery, building new competencies, and increasing the company’s production capacity to meet the requirements arising from contracted deliveries under the Narew, Pilica, and SAN programs. The agreement signed today marks the beginning of the development of our branch near Wrocław, but it will also benefit the region, which, through broader cooperation between the company and local suppliers and contractors, will become involved in the process of strengthening national security,” summarized Arkadiusz Miszuk, President of PIT-RADWAR.
Further measures will include the purchase, installation, and commissioning of modern machinery worth approximately 63.5 million PLN net. Funding for this purpose has been secured under implementation contract UW-10 covering deliveries of P-18PL radars. The branch’s machinery inventory will be expanded by more than 100 specialized devices, including environmental chambers, CNC milling machines, presses, lathes, waterjet cutting machines, and other equipment.
The investment will be supplemented by deliveries of workshop equipment with an estimated value of 4.5 million PLN net, financed from PIT-RADWAR’s own funds.
Deliveries of machinery and equipment will take place in the third and fourth quarters of 2027, following completion of the construction work. The entire investment is scheduled for completion in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The new infrastructure will enable the facility to expand its competencies. In view of the current geopolitical situation and the growing number of orders, the investment is becoming strategically important for increasing the company’s operational efficiency and securing, among other things, deliveries contracted under the San, Pilica, and Narew programs.
The new technological base will improve support for the company’s long-term contracts while also strengthening the local economic ecosystem. Modernization of the facility will create conditions for increasing employment and further expanding cooperation with domestic suppliers and subcontractors.
The Czernica project is another PIT-RADWAR investment, alongside the expansion of production capabilities in Kobyłka, aimed at increasing the company’s production and service potential.
