On Wednesday, September 30, 2026, the Armament Agency of the Polish Ministry of National Defence announced on social media that WB Group had begun deliveries to the Polish Armed Forces of FlyEye reconnaissance unmanned aircraft systems contracted on May 28 this year using loan funding from the Security Action for Europe (SAFE) instrument.

The deliveries form part of a package of contracts awarded to WB Group with a total net value of more than 11.6 billion PLN:
- more than 400 Warmate loitering munition systems worth approximately 1 billion PLN net, with each system comprising 10 drones;
- 12 Battery Modules of the Gladius Unmanned Reconnaissance and Strike System worth more than 9.3 billion PLN net;
- 190 FlyEye mini-class reconnaissance unmanned aircraft systems, including six systems for reconnaissance platoons of K2GF and K2PL tank battalions and 184 systems for the operational forces and the Territorial Defence Forces, worth approximately 1.3 billion PLN net, with deliveries to be completed by the end of 2030.
The FlyEye mini Unmanned Aircraft System is designed for airborne imagery reconnaissance using electro-optical payloads equipped with cameras capable of recording imagery both in daylight and with thermal imaging. The system has been successfully proven in service with the Polish Armed Forces, where it carries out missions for both the operational forces and the Territorial Defence Forces, as well as during combat operations in Ukraine.
FlyEye is a high-wing aircraft with a wingspan of 3.6 m, a length of 1.8 m, and a takeoff weight of 12 kg thanks to its composite construction. Powered by a single electric motor, it can reach speeds of 60–120 km/h, operate at altitudes of up to 3,500 m, and has a range of up to 50 km using a radio link and up to 300 km when the control station is relocated. The unmanned aircraft can remain airborne for more than 2.5 hours.
The previous FlyEye contract was signed on October 24, 2025, as part of a framework agreement concluded on September 5, 2023, during the 31st International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce for the delivery of approximately 400 systems.
