The company’s extensive potential, refined through decades of continuous investment in technology and innovation, delivers tangible benefits to customers. During the Singapore Airshow, taking place on February 3–8 this year, ST Engineering will also highlight its role as a founding partner of Space Summit 2026.
“The Singapore Airshow is our proving ground, where we demonstrate solutions and technologies that work at scale to deliver tangible value for our valued clients. This year, we are highlighting AI, autonomous technologies and secure digital platforms that are already in service of our customers – accelerating decision-making and strengthening operational resilience across various domains. Building on this, our participation at the Space Summit highlights our advanced space capabilities and growing contributions to the space industry. Collectively, these solutions demonstrate the breadth and depth of our technical expertise,” said Mervyn Tan, Group COO (Technology & Innovation) at ST Engineering. “Above all, we want our customers to be supported by solutions that are dependable, secure and ready, so that they can operate with confidence in demanding and complex environments.”
ST Engineering at the Singapore Airshow 2026
Occupying a 2,000 m² pavilion, ST Engineering’s exhibition will reflect its multidisciplinary expertise, technological leadership, and engineering excellence across the air, land, maritime, and digital technology domains. Innovative and state-of-the-art solutions in emerging fields will also be showcased.
Aviation
The aviation exhibit highlights the company’s ability to integrate technologies such as data links, automation, and intelligent robotics with deep expertise in design, manufacturing, and maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services to deliver best-in-class solutions and product life-cycle innovations that underpin the future of air defense and unmanned operations.
New solutions to be showcased at the Airshow include, among others:
- DrN-600, a next-generation unmanned aerial system for medium-range cargo transport, developed jointly with U.S. partner AIR Inc. With a maximum takeoff weight of under 600 kg and a range exceeding 70 km, it is capable of carrying up to 100 kg in a flexible cargo bay that supports various standard pallet sizes. Certification of the DrN-600 is expected to be completed by 2028, with operational trials using prototype systems conducted in parallel to gather customer feedback.
- Business Aviation Thrust Reverser, featuring an innovative composite nacelle system design. This thrust reverser uses a rotating tail structure to redirect engine exhaust airflow forward during landing, aiding deceleration and reducing brake wear. The thrust reverser demonstrator is the company’s latest innovation in next-generation nacelle systems, designed for Long Duct Mixed Flow (LDMF) configurations for business aircraft. The system incorporates high-temperature-resistant composites, a fully electric actuation system, and aerodynamics optimized using computational fluid dynamics. Validated through ground engine testing, the demonstrator achieves improved aerodynamic performance, acoustic characteristics, and structural integrity under high-temperature conditions.
- GEMINI-X, a next-generation tactical data-link system that integrates airborne platforms (such as fighter jets, transport aircraft, and helicopters) with ground command-and-control networks in real time. GEMINI-X seamlessly integrates with airborne systems and ground C2 networks, enabling multi-domain operations with minimal infrastructure modifications.
These solutions complement other showcased capabilities, including integrated MRO solutions for commercial aircraft and the C-130 Hercules, transport aircraft conversions, and aviation asset management.
Defense, Public Safety, and Security
The presentation of solutions in this sector highlights the convergence of digital connectivity, artificial intelligence–enabled command-and-control systems, and autonomous systems to strengthen operational capabilities and resilience in a dynamic combat environment. It also underscores the enduring relevance of proven platforms that can be upgraded with next-generation technologies to meet evolving requirements on the future battlefield.
At the center of the exhibit is the Manned-Unmanned Teaming Operating System (MUMTOS), an AI-powered, force-multiplying command-and-control platform that integrates manned and unmanned platforms to operate seamlessly as a coordinated team. Taking center stage are the production-ready Terrex s5 HED 8×8 infantry fighting vehicle, a clear signal of its readiness for modern multi-domain operations, and the Taurus unmanned ground vehicle, both enhanced with a new AI cockpit featuring a voice assistant that accelerates autonomous decision-making and increases battlefield effectiveness. The Veloce family of unmanned aerial systems provides advantageous perspectives for battlefield threat observation.
New solutions making their first public debut include:
- AXIOS, a first-of-its-kind, platform-agnostic, scalable multi-payload delivery solution for short-range missions, designed for both security forces and armed forces.
- ARTOS, a high-performance, multi-role drone with a low SWaP (size, weight, and power) footprint, featuring interchangeable payloads and versatile, semi-autonomous capabilities for tactical urban operations.
- EagleStrike, a next-generation loitering munition with advanced payloads, enabling high-precision missions at beyond-line-of-sight ranges.
- Other key highlights include next-generation soldier systems and AI-enabled extended reality (XR) training simulations.
Smart City
The Smart City showcase will feature next-generation intelligent airport security solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, advanced biometrics, and unified security management to enhance the traveler experience while strengthening security and improving operational efficiency.
A key highlight is the new AGIL Secure FastPass solution suite, which enables a fully integrated and contactless travel journey from check-in through airport exit.
It includes:
- FastPass mobile application, a secure digital identity wallet for traveler authentication.
- FastPass biometric e-gate, enabling passport-free and touchless immigration clearance.
- FastPass AI scanning system, which accelerates pre-boarding security screening and accurately detects aviation-restricted items in baggage.
- FastPass boarding kiosk, providing secure, contactless, and automated boarding processing.
Innovation
The innovation showcase will highlight ST Engineering’s forward-looking approach to next-generation technologies in emerging fields, including:
- HubGen 1 MW hydrogen electrolyzer, a containerized, cyber-secure system designed to eliminate energy gaps.
- Additive Manufacturing Factory, a mobile “A.M.-in-a-box” solution that uses GenAI to design complex, high-precision components for on-site production using powder-based additive manufacturing (3D printing) technology.
