XLR8 Technology
The Shadow Falcon incorporates XLR8 technology, which was introduced with the Black Eagle Evo line. It comprises a set of solutions across the outsole, insoles, and upper:
- Cushioning midsole
Step by step, full of energy. The balanced cushioning in the midsole absorbs energy when you land, stores it and releases it when you push off.
- Adaptive heel counter
Unpleasant chafing and rubbing are a thing of the past. The anatomically shaped heel counter moulds to your foot and ensures a perfect fit at the heel.
- Reforce
More endurance for your job with the Reforce sole. It gives the arch of the foot a slight rotational impulse to straighten it. Muscles and fasciae are stimulated by this stable posture and work more efficiently.
- Ergonomic last
For unrestricted movement without constriction. The ergonomic last gives your foot plenty of room when you step, allowing it to move freely while guiding your well-fitting boot as you walk.
Highest protection standards
The new model is intended to meet the requirements of the CE EN ISO 20347:2022 + A1:2024 O7S HRO HI CI FO AN SC SR standards, which means:
- the highest class of occupational footwear, meeting additional requirements for protection and durability,
- an outsole resistant to contact with hot surfaces and insulating the foot from high temperatures,
- thermal insulation of the foot from cold ground,
- outsole resistance to oils and greases,
- ankle protection,
- reinforced toe cap,
- slip resistance.
