Sightmark Presidio 1–10x26 – high magnification and a bright aiming point
The new Presidio 1–10×26 marks Sightmark’s entry into the increasingly sought‑after 1–10x LPVO segment. The manufacturer also addressed a key concern for many shooters: sufficient daytime reticle brightness. This is achieved through a special construction that incorporates fiber‑optic technology. For easier installation, the scope comes pre‑mounted in a cantilever mount.

The key feature: daylight bright
A highly desirable trait in LPVOs is the brightest possible reticle illumination, especially valued at midday when the sun is strongest – particularly in summer and in reflective environments. The high brightness of the 3 MOA dot on the second‑focal‑plane CRED‑10 (MRAD) reticle is ensured by integrating fiber‑optic technology into the optic.
Adjustments are made in 0.1 MRAD increments, with a total range of 35 MRAD.
The field of view ranges from approximately 41 m (1x) to about 4 m (10x).
A construction built for serious use
The Presidio 1–10×26 is built around a 34 mm tube, a 26 mm objective lens, and a 44 mm eyepiece. According to the manufacturer, the optic is shockproof, features multi‑coated lenses for scratch resistance, dirt repellence, and fog protection, and meets the IP67 standard. Light transmission is rated at 89%.
Fast adjustments
The Presidio 1–10×26 is equipped with Pop‑Lock turrets featuring a zero‑stop function. Pop‑Lock means that to make an adjustment, the shooter simply lifts the turret to unlock it and then rotates it. The zero‑stop function allows the user to assign the current zero to the “0” marking after sight‑in. This way, when making windage or elevation corrections, the shooter doesn’t need to remember the number of clicks—returning to “0” always restores the original zero.
Over 1,500 hours of battery life
The user can adjust the brightness of the 3 MOA dot from level 0 (illumination off) to 12. The manufacturer states that at low brightness settings, the CR2032 battery can last up to 1,550 hours. The Shake Awake function helps conserve battery life: after a period of inactivity, the illumination switches off automatically and turns back on when motion is detected—such as when mounting the rifle for a shot.
Key specifications
