Polish Armed Forces Day Parade 2026: Military Equipment Showcase

On August 15, 2026, celebrations marking Polish Armed Forces Day 2026 were held in Warsaw and Gdynia under the slogan Polska SAFE – Bezpieczna Polska (Poland SAFE – A Secure Poland). On this occasion, we present a list of military vehicles, aircraft, and naval vessels that took part in the parade in the capital and the naval parade in the Baltic Sea.

Warsaw Parade: Aircraft

  • three Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky S-70i Black Hawk International multirole helicopters from the Polish Special Forces. Eight aircraft are currently operated by the GROM Military Unit  Aviation Team.
  • two Mi-17 multirole helicopters.

  • three PZL M28 B/PT/GC Bryza passenger and transport aircraft. The Polish Air Force operates 24 aircraft of this type.

  • four upgraded PZL-130 Orlik TCII Advanced trainer aircraft from the Orlik Aerobatic Team. The Polish Air Force operates 28 aircraft of this type.

  • medium transport aircraft: one Lockheed C-130H Hercules and two Airbus C295M aircraft. The Polish Air Force operates five C-130Hs as replacements for the C-130E fleet, with one C-130E still remaining in service, as well as 16 C295Ms, which are to undergo modernization and standardization between 2029 and 2033.

  • two four-engine Airbus A400M-180 Atlas heavy turboprop transport aircraft from the German Air Force (Luftwaffe) and the Spanish Air and Space Force (Ejército del Aire y del Espacio).

  • one government-operated Gulfstream G550 VIP transport aircraft accompanied by two KAI FA-50GF Fighting Eagle light combat aircraft. Two G550s are used for VIP transport, while twelve FA-50GFs are operated for combat missions, with plans to introduce 36 upgraded FA-50PL aircraft.

  • one government-operated Boeing 737-800NG VIP transport aircraft accompanied by two FA-50GF light combat aircraft. Three B737s are used for VIP transport.

  • one Airbus A330 MRTT Phénix tanker-transport aircraft from the French Air and Space Force (Armée de l’Air et de l’Espace), escorted by a Polish F-16 Jastrząb. Poland plans to acquire four A330 MRTT+ aircraft in cooperation with Spain.

  • four Leonardo M-346 Bielik advanced jet trainers. Fifteen aircraft remain in service after one was lost in a fatal crash.
  • another four FA-50GF light combat aircraft.

  • four Lockheed Martin F-16C/D Block 52+ Advanced, also known as Jastrząb, multirole combat aircraft. A total of 47 aircraft remain in service following a fatal crash. The fleet is to be upgraded to the F-16V standard.

  • two German Eurofighter EF2000 Typhoon multirole combat aircraft, one in a special anniversary livery, accompanied by two Polish F-16 Jastrząb aircraft.

  • two Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II, also known as Husarz, fifth-generation multirole combat aircraft accompanied by two F-16 Jastrząb aircraft. Poland has ordered 32 F-35As and plans to acquire additional aircraft. The first three are currently stationed in Poland, while eight remain in the United States for training and additional aircraft are to be redeployed to Poland later this year.

Warsaw Parade: Military Vehicles

  • Military Police vehicles: Kawasaki response motorcycles, Škoda Superb patrol cars, Volkswagen Crafter vans, Toyota Hilux off-road utility vehicles, and Plasan SandCat 4×4 armored vehicles, also known as SILO Szop.

  • Kawasaki Versys 650 motorcycles from the Territorial Defence Forces and Polaris Sportsman XP 1000 all-terrain vehicles from the Polish Special Forces.

  • Polaris MRZR vehicles operated by the Polish Special Forces.

  • Kleszcz Light Armored Reconnaissance Carrier based on the Bóbr-3 platform, including one fitted with an anti-drone protective cage. Under two contracts, 52 vehicles have been ordered from AMZ-Kutno out of 286 planned under the framework agreement.

  • Żmija Long-Range Reconnaissance Vehicles in the LPU Wirus IV variant. A total of 118 vehicles are in service, delivered in three batches by a consortium comprising Polski Holding Obronny and Bielsko-Biała-based Concept.

  • Legwan Light Reconnaissance Vehicles, based on the South Korean KIA KLTV, including one also fitted with anti-drone protective screens. Around 1,666 vehicles have been ordered under two contracts. The first are being delivered from the Republic of Korea, while future vehicles are to be produced by PGZ Group company Rosomak.

  • AERO Airmobile Forces Vehicles. A total of 80 are in service, delivered by a consortium comprising Kafar Bartłomiej Sztukiert (leader), Hibneryt, Auto-Podlasie, and Auto Special Branch Sobiesław Zasada Warszawa.

  • M1240A1 M-ATV (MRAP-All Terrain Vehicle) mine-resistant vehicles and Ford F550 XL 4×4 vehicles fitted with C2 assault ramps. The Polish Special Forces operate 124 M-ATVs received from the United States in two batches, as well as four Ford F550 XL 4×4 vehicles modified by Concept.

  • Coastal Missile Squadron vehicles equipped with NSM anti-ship missiles: Missile Launch Vehicles (MLV), Squadron Command Vehicles (SCV), Battery Command Vehicles (BCV), Transporter-Loader Vehicles (TLV), Mobile Communications Centers (MCC), and TRS-15M Odra radars.

  • ZU-23-2CP anti-aircraft gun mounted on a Jelcz 442 truck.
  • Homar-2 self-contained hydrographic survey system.
  • GNM-12 motorboat from the Mine Clearance Divers Group.

  • Ukwiał underwater vehicle.
  • TRI Hors engineering reconnaissance vehicle.
  • EOD patrol vehicle equipped with a Topola-S unexploded ordnance transport container.
  • WD-95 command vehicle of the WD-35 Blenda air defense system.
  • CW-5M tanker truck on a Star 266M2 chassis.
  • various types of naval mines.
  • Zawilec command vehicle based on the Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier.
