On Saturday, June 20, 2026, on the second and final day of the Warsaw Defence Fair, organized by Portal Obronny and ZPR Media Group, Golden Guardian awards were presented to two companies belonging to the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ): Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom and Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW).

The new event offered the opportunity to familiarize attendees with a wide spectrum of armaments, equipment, and innovative technologies in the defense and security sectors.
The first day (June 19) focused on the exchange of experience. President Adam Leszkiewicz participated in the panel „Public-Private Cooperation in the Defense Sector,” and Vice President Jan Grabowski in the panel „Baltic Security in the Era of Hybrid Threats.”
During the gala, Portal Obronny’s Golden Guardian awards were presented. „The awards go to individuals and companies from the defense industry thanks to whom Poland is held up as a model of innovative solutions and Polish technical thought is promoted beyond the country’s borders – and not only there,” the organizers stated.
Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom received the award for the MSBS Grot A3 assault rifle. „For quality, modernity, and reliability. For developing an entirely new Polish automatic rifle design that will give soldiers an advantage on the battlefield and may become a Polish export success,” reads the citation.
Huta Stalowa Wola was recognized for leading the work of the consortium responsible for creating the new Polish Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle. „Thanks to it, Polish soldiers will gain more effective battlefield support and better protection against fire and mines.”
The second day of WDF (June 20) was open to the public. In addition to presentations on personal security, crisis preparedness, and legal firearms ownership, the exhibition of defense company products attracted significant interest. The Polish Armaments Group was represented by, among others: Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom, Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów, PCO, PSO Maskpol, Mesko, and Rosomak.
At the outdoor exhibition, participants had the opportunity to get a close look at modern armaments (such as the AHS Krab self-propelled howitzer and the KTO Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carrier).
