What are the KJI Mag Series mounting solutions
The KJI Mag Series consists of two accessory kits designed for use with firearms equipped with M-LOK handguards, as well as with traditional polymer and wooden stocks. The M-LOK Kit includes a ball mount that attaches directly to the handguard, along with a tripod adapter featuring a 3/8″-16 thread.

The Sling Stud Kit allows a ball adapter to be mounted to traditional bolt-action rifle stocks using screw-in studs. The kit includes the same tripod-mounted adapter as the M-LOK version. In addition, it comes with two mounting studs featuring different thread types, one designed for wooden stocks and the other for polymer stocks. The kit also includes a sling mounting adapter for attaching a rifle sling.
How It Works
Using the KJI Mag Series accessories is extremely simple. To stabilize the firearm, just place the steel ball mounted to the handguard or stock onto the magnetic adapter. To detach it, simply tilt the rifle to the left or right.
The KJI Mag accessories allow shooters to quickly assume a shooting position on a tripod and just as quickly detach the firearm when needed. Due to the strength of the magnet, these accessories are best suited for lighter rifles built on the AR-15 platform and other firearms of similar size and weight. The mounts will also perform well with lightweight bolt-action rifles. Using the KJI Mag system with a heavier precision rifle is generally not advisable, as it provides less stability than a traditional ARCA rail mount or a tripod vise-style clamp.
