On Friday, June 19, 2026, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced the launch of a new information portal on captured Russian weaponry, TrophyLab, designed for the exchange of technical information. The platform will aggregate data from Armed Forces units, the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR MO), the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), and specialized scientific institutions.

Data from the aforementioned institutions will be collected on the platform at https://trophylab.mod.gov.ua/. Following verification, access to the catalog of drawings, technical data, and analysis results will be granted to:
- military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- Ukrainian research organizations;
- Ukrainian manufacturers of defense and military technologies;
- state institutions and defense ministries of partner states;
- defense companies of partner states meeting the requirements of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
“From now on, the entire civilized world will have access to the secrets of Russian weapons and equipment, which will help stop the enemy and end the war from a position of strength,” reads the press release.
The platform was established as part of an experimental project approved by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and works in close cooperation with security and defense sector bodies that have access to samples of captured military equipment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
According to the announcement, 115 samples of Russian weapons and military equipment models are currently available, systematized into 79 categories and subcategories, with over 225 technical and materials tests conducted on these to date.
Each sample has been supplemented with catalog data: item name, item photograph, technical specifications, a summary of test results, links to research materials, and a list of analyzed components. As stated, applicants may receive authorization for a sample to conduct their own research, including destructive testing involving partial damage or complete destruction.
Anyone can browse the list of categories, but sample pages and test results are available only to registered users from the above-mentioned categories following verification. Most government agencies have already been granted access to the portal through centralized preliminary verification. Access is prohibited to legal entities subject to sanctions, entities associated with Russia, or entities registered in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. Registered users may upload their own research results to their account on the platform.
