The press release is very vague.
It mentions several contracts with a single international customer, with the total value stated above. Under these agreements, the Israeli company will supply a range of advanced systems, including land-based systems, and will also carry out a development program for an innovative defense solution. The contracts will be executed over a period of six years.
Bezhalel (Butzi) Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems, said:
“These contracts reflect confidence in both our operational proven systems and our ability to develop strategic, future oriented capabilities. We take pride in being recognized not only for reliable, fielded solutions, but also for our capacity to innovate and adapt to the evolving challenges of the modern battlefield.”
It cannot be ruled out that, as has happened in the past, the customer and the nature of the contracts will be disclosed in the future, either by the interested party or by the media, once deliveries and implementation begin.
