On Monday, March 2, 2026, BAE Systems Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of the UK-based BAE Systems, unveiled the Silver Link family of conformal antennas for communication systems, designed to fit the unique contours of aircraft fuselages, including those of unmanned aerial vehicles.

The new system of modular, adaptable antennas for secure communications was developed by the Space and Mission Systems division, drawing on the company’s 30 years of experience in designing and manufacturing communications solutions for military aviation programs.
The new Silver Link range of conformal antennas was designed to meet customers’ cost requirements and to enable rapid development from the prototype stage to full integration with the aircraft.

Designed for seamless integration with any carrier platform, Silver Link antennas conform to the curves of the fuselage while preserving aerodynamic and structural integrity.
The Silver Link antenna line adapts to customers’ compressed schedules and cost parameters, eliminating the need for lengthy and expensive custom design and prototyping processes. Silver Link solutions provide customers with high performance and cost-effective operation while requiring minimal maintenance.
The new product line is linked to BAE Systems’ recent facility expansion and its in-house capabilities for rapid prototyping, introduction, and serial production of solutions designed to deter adversaries in any global theater of operations.
