On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, the U.S.-based company Ondas Holdings announced that its Israeli subsidiary Sentrycs had recently delivered the portable Scout counter-drone system to a German state police force (Landespolizei). The official debut will take place at the upcoming Enforce Tac 2026 in Nuremberg.

Ondas Holdings, a leading provider of autonomous control systems for unmanned aerial and ground systems through its Ondas Autonomous Systems (OAS) business unit, as well as wireless solutions through Ondas Networks, announced that its subsidiary Sentrycs – a leader in protocol-manipulation-based C-UAS technology, also known as Cyber over RF – has successfully delivered and deployed its solutions with a German state police force.
This milestone reflects both Sentrycs’ growing role in European law enforcement and the increasing demand for legally compliant, non-disruptive drone mitigation systems. The announcement coincides with the upcoming launch of the portable Scout system at Enforce Tac 2026 in Germany, marking the company’s entry into a new multi-billion-dollar segment of the rapidly expanding counter-unmanned aerial systems (C-UAS) market.
The field-proven Sentrycs system is designed to detect, identify, and take control of unauthorized drones without causing interference or employing kinetic measures. It has already begun actively supporting German state police units in securing large-scale public gatherings and high-profile events, ensuring public safety without additional disruption.
Designed to meet the needs of modern law enforcement, the system delivers precise threat mitigation by safely taking control of drones conducting unauthorized flights and directing them to predefined landing zones. It also identifies drone serial numbers and the real-time location of their operators, enabling a comprehensive, intelligence-driven response. Unlike traditional jamming solutions, Sentrycs’ protocol-based approach operates without disrupting local communication networks – making it particularly well suited for densely populated urban environments.
“We’re proud to support law enforcement agencies with operationally proven solutions that reflect the realities of today’s security landscape,” said Tal Cohen, CEO of Sentrycs. “Our deployment with the German State Police demonstrates the immediate impact of lawful, precise drone mitigation. With the launch of our new man-carried solution, Sentrycs Scout, we’re extending that capability to tactical units that require mobility without compromising performance.”
This deployment comes amid heightened concerns over drone activity in Germany. In 2025, the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) reported more than 1,000 suspicious flights – including incidents near military facilities, airports (e.g., Munich), and sensitive government zones. These events exposed a critical operational gap: detection alone left authorities without adequate means to effectively neutralize threats.
At Enforce Tac 2026 (Hall 10, Booth 404), Sentrycs will showcase its Cyber over RF technology and officially debut its new portable product – Sentrycs Scout.
Scout is a compact, battery-powered Cyber over RF counter-UAS system designed for law enforcement and tactical forces. It enables rapid deployment of passive detection, tracking, identification, and cyber mitigation capabilities in a lightweight, portable format – without requiring fixed infrastructure. Delivering real-time situational awareness along with fast and precise threat mitigation in any environment, Scout supports secure operations in sensitive areas while minimizing regulatory and operational risks. It is ideally suited for tactical force protection, convoy security, VIP protection, border security, and infrastructure patrol missions.
Built on the same technology proven in Sentrycs’ fixed-site systems, Scout is engineered for field use in demanding operational environments, featuring a ruggedized housing. It provides tactical teams with autonomous airspace control capabilities wherever needed.
Based on market research conducted by Grand View Research, Ondas Holdings estimates that the total global market for portable counter-UAS systems will reach approximately 9.8 billion USD within five years, underscoring the strong commercial potential for compact, field-deployable drone mitigation solutions across defense, law enforcement, and homeland security sectors.
