Back in 2024, when the defense company was celebrating its 100th anniversary, no one expected that in less than two years it would make such a major modernization leap and achieve multi-billion-zloty revenue.

The company’s 2024 results were already very strong. Net sales revenue and equivalent income increased compared with 2023, reaching more than 1.7 billion PLN, whereas the previous year had closed at just over 1.1 billion PLN.
But when 2025 is compared with 2023, the increase in sales revenue and equivalent income reaches 107%. For the first time in its history, Mesko’s revenue exceeded 2 billion PLN, totaling exactly 2,278,559,000 PLN. In addition, the company recorded more than a sixfold increase in net profit.

It is also worth noting that for the first time in many decades, in 2025 Mesko not only met its sales targets but exceeded them by 13%.
This was undoubtedly driven by modernization processes and investments within the company, which led to increased production of small-, medium-, and large-caliber ammunition, as well as the Piorun man-portable air-defense missile system.
The year 2025 was record-breaking in terms of the number of contracts and orders. More countries are lining up to acquire Piorun systems. Mesko missiles are already being purchased by Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Norway, Sweden, Belgium, and the United States. Most recently, France expressed interest in buying Skarżysko’s export hit; earlier, interest also came from a Balkan country, and the system was presented in Thailand. Slovakia is also expected to sign a purchase agreement soon, while according to media reports, Piorun will become part of the Israeli SPYDER system ordered by Romania in July last year.
Thanks to its production of the Piorun, Mesko received the special award of the Minister of Finance and Economy for Best Polish Arms Exporter during last year’s International Defence Industry Exhibition at Targi Kielce.
It is also worth adding that production of small- and medium-caliber ammunition increased sharply last year. As a result of modernizing production halls and acquiring new machinery and equipment, the Skarżysko-based company now produces one million rounds per day. On an annual basis, that amounts to 250 million rounds of ammunition.
Profitability is a key indicator of management effectiveness, operational efficiency, and the use of company assets. And according to company data, Mesko tripled its profitability, improving from 5% in 2023 to 16% in 2025.
