On Tuesday, February 6th, Mesko, a company based in Skarżysko-Kamienna and part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), signed an agreement with the Ministry of Defense of Moldova regarding the modernization of the Moldovan Armed Forces.
As stated in the press release from the local Ministry of Defense, Minister of Defense Anatolie Nosatîi met with the Ambassador Extraordinary And Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Moldova, His Excellency Tomasz Kobzdej. Also present at the meeting were: Defense, Military, and Air Attaché of the Republic of Poland in Chisinau, Colonel Paweł Stuleblak, as well as representatives of Mesko company.
The discussion revolved around bilateral cooperation in the defense sector, prospects for its intensification, as well as aid programs provided to Moldova in the context of transforming its armed forces. At the same time, during the meeting, officials familiarized themselves with the activities of the Mesko company and signed an agreement on cooperation aimed at the modernization of the armed forces.

Earlier, on September 20, 2023, representatives of Mesko visited Chisinau at the invitation of Ambassador Tomasz Kobzdej and Attaché Colonel Paweł Stulebłak. As part of the visit, the company’s representatives took part in the celebrations of the Polish Armed Forces Day organized at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Moldova. They also met with Minister Anatolie Nosatîi and Brigadier General Sergiu Cirimpei, conducted business talks, and presented the company’s product portfolio.
