On Friday, August 21, 2026, Tech Robotics took another significant step in implementing its Drone Armament Center project. The company signed a preliminary agreement to acquire an organized part of an enterprise, together with real estate in Niewiadów. The infrastructure being acquired is intended to provide an industrial base for the development and production of solutions designed to arm unmanned systems.

The scale of the assets being acquired is intended to enable the use of Niewiadów’s existing industrial potential and create the infrastructure required for the development of the Drone Armament Center. The project is to combine Tech Robotics’ technological expertise, more than a century of experience accumulated by ZSP Niewiadów in ammunition and explosives, and the capital potential of Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna.
“In March, we jointly defined the objectives and cooperation model, and today we are taking another very important step toward creating a real industrial base for this project. The infrastructure in Niewiadów gives us the opportunity to combine technological expertise, experience in special production, and the space required for further development and scaling of operations. We want to use its potential to build comprehensive capabilities in Poland related to arming unmanned systems—from design and integration work, through testing, to production. Signing the preliminary agreement brings us significantly closer to achieving this goal,” said Piotr Gniadek, President of the Management Board of Tech Robotics.
The project responds to growing demand for unmanned combat systems and the need to build domestic capabilities for their development and production. The Center is to focus in particular on solutions related to warheads and payloads intended for various types of unmanned platforms. The transaction covers real estate with a total area of approximately 3.7 ha and buildings with more than 10,000 m² of usable floor space. The organized part of the enterprise also includes machinery and equipment.
Tech Robotics is a Polish technology company specializing in the design of modern unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as innovative training systems, including mobile shooting targets for the military and uniformed services. The company develops technologies intended to improve the safety and effectiveness of operational activities, with its business based on innovation, reliability and precision. Tech Robotics supports the development of domestic defense capabilities and efforts to reduce dependence on foreign suppliers. Since 2025, the company’s shares have been listed on the NewConnect market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange. On March 10 this year, Niewiadów Polska Grupa Militarna announced that it had signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego Niewiadów and Tech Robotics concerning cooperation on the development and implementation of warheads and payloads intended for arming drones.
It is worth noting that on September 3–6, 2024, Tech Robotics took part in the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) at Targi Kielce, where it presented its full family of modern Recon unmanned platforms for the first time: ReconPATROL, ReconSKY and ReconSEA.
- ReconPATROL – a patrol and surveillance unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) designed for reconnaissance, patrol missions and real-time data collection. Equipped with sensors and thermal imaging cameras, it can operate in difficult terrain and high-risk conditions, supporting the military, border guards and security services.
- ReconSKY – an autonomous flying-wing unmanned aerial system (UAV) designed for surveillance missions, signal relay and critical infrastructure monitoring. Thanks to its modular design, it can be prepared for flight quickly and can operate both autonomously and as part of an integrated system.
- ReconSEA – an unmanned surface vehicle (USV) using FOIL technology, which allows the platform to rise above the water surface. This enables ReconSEA to achieve higher speed, improved energy efficiency and exceptional maneuverability. It is intended for reconnaissance missions, protection of maritime infrastructure and detection of underwater threats.
ReconPATROL and ReconSKY were presented to the Polish Ministry of National Defence on April 24, 2025, at the 1st Warsaw Armoured Brigade in Warsaw-Wesoła as part of a broader demonstration of unmanned systems from various manufacturers. It was emphasized that the two systems fit well with the strategic concept being pursued: their presence demonstrated that Tech Robotics is actively participating in the development of a comprehensive drone army covering multiple operational domains. On June 19–20 this year, the company also took part in the Warsaw Defence Expo (WTO) at the EXPO XXI Center in Warsaw.
