On Friday, April 17, 2026, the Armament Agency announced the cancellation of a tender procedure for the supply of 64,515 rounds of 30 mm x 173 ammunition with TP non-tracer training projectiles, or equivalent, in 2026–2029. The procedure had been conducted as a restricted procedure since October 15, 2025.

According to the published notice, nine bids or requests to participate were received, while the award criteria were price (87%) and warranty (13%). Nevertheless, no winner was selected and the competitive procedure was closed, with no reason given.
Earlier, on September 12, 2025, the Armament Agency canceled a tender for the supply of 68,505 rounds of 30 mm x 173 ammunition with TP non-tracer training projectiles, or equivalent, in 2025–2029 – 3,990 more rounds than in the current procedure.
The round in question was introduced into the Polish Armed Forces by Order No. 189 of the Head of the Armed Forces Support Inspectorate, dated December 31, 2024.
Meanwhile, since September 1, 2025, the Armament Agency has been conducting a separate tender procedure for the supply of a total of 68,000 rounds of 30 mm x 173 practice ammunition. Earlier, in summer 2024, it held preliminary market consultations on the acquisition of training and practice ammunition for 30 mm Northrop Grumman ATK Mk 44/S Bushmaster II automatic cannons.
The Polish Armed Forces operate Mk 44 Bushmaster II cannons in Leonardo OTO Melara Hitfist-30P turret systems on Rosomak APCs, as well as the aforementioned Mk 44/S Bushmaster II cannons in ZSSW-30 turret systems on Rosomak wheeled infantry fighting vehicles, and subsequently on Borsuk IFVs, the planned Heavy IFV, and possibly the new-generation Serwal APC.
