Within the division of responsibilities in the PGZ Management Board, Marek Karabuła will be responsible for the finance area, as well as for the development of the Group’s potential in the field of armored vehicles and artillery. In accordance with the Company’s Articles of Association, the candidacy of Marek Karabuła received a positive opinion from the Minister of State Assets and the Minister of National Defence.

“I am pleased that a manager with such extensive experience in managing large industrial organizations, including companies of strategic importance for state security, is joining the Polish Armaments Group Management Board. Marek Karabuła has in recent years led important entities within the PGZ Group – Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów and Huta Stalowa Wola – which are involved in key modernization programs of the Polish Armed Forces. His competencies in management, production, and the execution of complex industrial projects will provide significant support for the further strengthening of the PGZ Group’s potential,” said Adam Leszkiewicz, President of the PGZ Management Board.
Marek Karabuła is a manager with extensive and diverse experience of over 30 years in managing companies in the gas, oil, machinery, and FMCG sectors, including publicly listed companies. He specializes in managing State Treasury companies and structures of global corporations. Marek Karabuła has also held managerial positions in strategic companies such as TAURON Polska Energia and the Polish Oil and Gas Company (PGNiG), where he was responsible for the growth of hydrocarbon production and the execution of strategic investments. Previously, within the Orlen Group, he was responsible for the consolidation of southern assets. With effect from August 19, 2024, he was appointed President of the Management Board of Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów, and with effect from September 1, 2025 until today he served as President of the Management Board of Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW). Marek Karabuła is a graduate of the Kraków University of Economics and has passed the examination for candidates for supervisory board members of State Treasury companies.
