Polish Armaments Group (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, PGZ) invites representatives of private companies to participate in the Polish Defense Industry Forum 2025, which will take place on March 5 at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) announced that the first Polish Defense Industry Forum 2025 for private company representatives will take place on March 5 at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. According to the announcement, the event will provide an opportunity to learn how to establish cooperation with the companies that make up the PGZ Group.

For whom: Representatives of companies that have not yet collaborated with PGZ but, due to their business profile, could become partners and subcontractors of the Group.

Format: Thematic workshops combined with elements of an industry debate.

The Polish Defense Industry Forum, organized by Polish Armaments Group, is the first initiative of its kind, enabling the establishment of new relationships and the strengthening of connections between civil sector entities interested in enhancing the defense industry’s potential and the PGZ Group companies.

On behalf of the organizer, representatives from all companies within the PGZ Capital Group will participate in the event:

  • Bydgoskie Zakłady Elektromechaniczne BELMA is one of the oldest industrial plants in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian region. Today, the company is a modern enterprise specializing in the design and production of special-purpose products for national defense, meeting the needs of the Polish Armed Forces. It also focuses on the design and production of explosion-proof products, as well as providing industrial services, including machining, measurement, and electroplating services.
  • Zakłady Mechaniczne Bumar-Łabędy specializes in the production, overhaul, and modernization of armored vehicles. Its modernization packages and repair services cover a wide range of armored vehicles, including Leopard tanks, PT-91, WZT-2 and WZT-3 Armored Recovery Vehicles, and various models of the T-72 tank family.The company is the main contractor for the modernization of Leopard 2A4 tanks to the Leopard 2PL/M1 version. It is also the only facility in Poland with its own testing range. In the civilian sector, Bumar-Łabędy offers mechanical and thermal processing services as well as electroplating services.
  • BUMAR-MIKULCZYCE Machine-Building Plant Inc. is classified as a strategically important enterprise for national defense, with 55 years of experience in the defense industry. The company specializes in the production, overhaul, and modernization of gearboxes, side gears, intermediate gears, hydraulic and friction dampers, road wheels, rotation, elevation, and support mechanisms, lifting assemblies, springs, braids, valves, distributors, and many other components used in combat vehicles and equipment operated by the Polish Armed Forces.
  • H.Cegielski–Poznań. The company was founded in 1846, combining innovation with over a century of industrial experience. It specializes in steel structures, the production of machinery for the heavy industry, as well as the servicing of marine engines and the supply of spare parts, providing high-quality solutions for key sectors of the economy. The company’s strength lies in its proven technologies and reliability.
  • Cenzin is a renowned company with many years of experience in international trade, specializing in the sale of specialized equipment for the military and logistics sectors. The company’s product portfolio is divided into segments, supplying various branches of the armed forces and special services. In addition to specialized equipment, Cenzin is also expanding its offerings for the railway industry and cargo inspection in transportation. One of the company’s key development directions is expanding its export portfolio with new products from Polish manufacturers.
  • Dezamet Metal Works S.A. is a high-quality defense industry manufacturer with 85 years of experience. The main defense production portfolio includes 155 mm artillery ammunition, 120 mm, 98 mm, and 60 mm mortar ammunition, as well as 40 mm grenade launcher ammunition. Additionally, the company provides services and sales in the field of civilian production and metal processing and operates a measurement and research laboratory.
  • Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom is a leading Polish manufacturer of firearms, with 100 years of experience. The company provides high-quality weaponry for the Polish Armed Forces, uniformed services, as well as the civilian and international markets. Its portfolio includes MSBS Grot rifle family, as well as Vis 100, Vis 100 M1, and MPS pistols. Thanks to innovative investments in automation and digitalization, the company continuously improves quality standards, while also offering professional gunsmithing and industrial services.
  • Special Production Plant Gamrat Ltd. is a manufacturer of artillery nitroglycerin-based propellants, as well as rocket fuels and military pyrotechnic products, making it an entity of key importance to national defense. In response to the ongoing technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces, the company’s management is actively engaged in projects related to new and upgraded weapon systems, with the primary focus being participation in the localization of 155 mm ammunition production under the “Base Bleed PL” project.
  • Huta Stalowa Wola (HSW) is a manufacturer of artillery and engineering equipment, as well as armored combat vehicles, and also offers selected production services. The company fosters long-term cooperation with suppliers, based on full responsibility for the products and services offered. Collaborating with HSW provides an opportunity to participate in modern defense projects and expand business within the defense industry.   • Jelcz has over 70 years of experience in automotive vehicle production. The company specializes in: design, production, and after-sales service of special-purpose vehicles with drivetrain configurations ranging from 4×4 to 10×10, manufacturing spare parts for Jelcz commercial vehicles, producing components and assemblies for wheeled and rail vehicles as well as machines and equipment for agriculture. The company is a leader in the supply of chassis for specialized military applications for the Polish Armed Forces. It offers around 70 different chassis configurations, which are used in key defense programs such as Wisła, Narew, and Pilica+.
  • WSK PZL-Kalisz is a manufacturer of components for the aerospace and defense industries and the sole producer of ASz-62 IR engines. PZL-Kalisz also manufactures parts for the Grot rifle, as well as aerospace and diesel engines. The company operates a modern machinery park and holds certifications such as AS 9100, AQAP 2110, and NADCAP. In the civilian production sector, it offers heat treatment, electroplating, nitriding, chrome plating, non-destructive testing, and laboratory inspection services.
  • Protective Equipment Company Maskpol is a leading manufacturer in its industry, equipped with a modern research facility and the latest production technologies. The company designs and manufactures ballistic protection products, including helmets and bulletproof vests; chemical protection equipment, such as gas masks, protective clothing, and decontamination devices; and preventive protection products. The main customers of its products include the military, police, border guard, and other uniformed services.
  • Mesko is a world-class defense industry manufacturer with over 100 years of production experience. The company produces small-caliber ammunition ranging from 5.56 mm to 9 mm, compliant with both NATO and Russian standards, as well as medium-caliber ammunition from 12.7 mm to 35 mm. Additionally, it manufactures tank ammunition (120 mm and 125 mm), artillery shells, including 155 mm, and missile systems such as Grom, Piorun, and Spike, as well as Feniks and NLPR 70 rockets.
  • Zakłady Chemiczne Nitro-Chem is the largest explosives manufacturer in Europe and one of the largest in the world. The company supplies its products to, among others, the Polish Armed Forces and some of the world’s largest defense corporations. It specializes in the production of high-energy materials and their compositions, as well as demolition ammunition. The company also provides ammunition filling services for tank and artillery shells, aerial bombs, and anti-tank and naval mines. In the civilian market, it successfully supplies blasting agents and plastic films under the Triniflex brand.
  • OBRUM Research and Development Center for Mechanical Equipment is a modern research and development center specializing in defense technologies. The company offers simulators, engineering vehicles, and interactive documentation. With an experienced team and advanced facilities, it supports innovation, production, and equipment servicing. Its flagship product, the MS-20 Daglezja bridge, enhances military mobility, and its reliability makes it a key element of operational support for the armed forces.
  • Ośrodek Badawczo-Rozwojowy Centrum Techniki Morskiej (OBR CTM) was established in 1982 and specializes in the design, construction, and maintenance of integrated military and civilian systems, including command, communication, and naval systems.With modern research and technical facilities, it conducts development work and participates in national and international programs (NCBiR, EDA, NATO). The company offers accredited testing and product certification, as well as critical infrastructure protection technologies.
  • PCO is Poland’s largest manufacturer of a wide range of optoelectronic devices for the military and other uniformed services. The company’s portfolio includes professional optoelectronic equipment, as well as thermal imaging and night vision devices, designed for both individual soldiers and combat platforms. All products result from in-house research and development activities.
  • PIT-Radwar is a leading designer and manufacturer of professional electronic systems for the Polish Armed Forces.   • Stomil – Poznań is Poland’s first tire manufacturing plant, operating since 1928. The company specializes in bias-ply tires, designed for the most demanding conditions and offering excellent performance characteristics. The company provides tires for mining machines and OTR vehicles, as well as tires for specialized and military vehicles and aircraft tires. Stomil’s product range is further enriched by specialized rubber-metal components, serving both military and civilian markets.
  • PGZ Stocznia Wojenna (PGZ Naval Shipyard) is the oldest shipyard in Poland, operating since 1922. The company has built over 300 various types of vessels and completed thousands of repairs and modernizations, primarily for the Polish Navy. Currently, the shipyard is executing the Miecznik Program, which involves the construction of three modern multi-role frigates, as well as a contract for building the rescue ship “Ratownik“.
  • WCBKT Central Military Bureau of Design & Technology for over 50 years has specialized in the development and production of ground support equipment (NOSP) for aircraft, training and simulation devices, and systems and components used in the production of modern weaponry. The NOSP equipment manufactured by the company is used in all air bases and aviation units in Poland. The company designs and produces power supply units, hydraulic power units, oxygen, nitrogen, and air distributors, oxygen and nitrogen gasifiers, air compressors, dryers, and diagnostic devices.
  • Wojskowe Zakłady Elektroniczne (Military Electronic Works) carries out tasks for the Polish Armed Forces in the repair, production, and modernization of radar systems, electronic reconnaissance and warfare equipment, and air defense systems. The company is also a manufacturer of Talin and Geonyx Inertial Navigation Systems.
  • Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 (Military Aviation Works No. 1) for 80 years has provided high-quality services for the aviation sector of the Polish Armed Forces, as well as for domestic and international clients. The company, known for its long-standing tradition, specializes in the overhaul, maintenance, and modernization of aircraft. WZL-1 offers a wide range of services applicable to the civilian market, including non-destructive testing, electroplating, and painting services.   • Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 2 (Military Aviation Works No. 2) is one of the largest aviation facilities in Poland, operating for nearly 80 years.   • Wojskowe Zakłady Łączności nr 1 operates since 1955, producing and supplying mobile command communication systems and integrated ICT systems based on modern technical solutions. It is one of the leading companies in the Polish defense market, supporting the transformation process that aligns the Polish Armed Forces with NATO standards, while collaborating with business and R&D partners both domestically and internationally. The company specializes in the integration and delivery of mobile command posts, mobile offices, and communication systems. It also operates an accredited testing laboratory for military equipment and commercial devices.
  • Wojskowe Zakłady Motoryzacyjne is a company with 80 years of experience, specializing in maintenance and repair services for tracked armored vehicles. The company offers repairs and servicing of tanks and other tracked and wheeled armored vehicles, including support vehicles such as WZT, WZI, and assault bridges.   • Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia is a company specializing in missile defense technology. WZU supports the safety and operational readiness of military weapons and equipment, ensuring full technical efficiency throughout its service life. This includes industrial-level servicing, modernization, and modification of radar system components, missile technology, and both tube and rocket artillery. The company supplies a range of critical defense components, including: radar system elements for early target detection and missile guidance, optoelectronic systems, training simulators for air defense missile systems, missile transport vehicles for air defense missile systems.
  • ZURAD for over 60 years has specialized in the production of equipment and systems for the uniformed services and security sector.
