On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in response to questions from the MILMAG Portal editorial team, the Armament Agency stated that nine entities have expressed interest in participating in the market consultations for the Magura V7-class Unmanned Surface Weapon Systems program. The invitation to take part in the consultations was published on March 19 this year.

The Armament Agency is seeking platforms that are at least at Technology Readiness Level 9 (TRL 9). This is the highest level on the technology maturity assessment scale, meaning the solution has been fully tested and proven in a real operational environment.
The consultations are being conducted in correspondence form, and the Armament Agency has requested that submissions include a description of the technical solution offered, together with a specification of its tactical and technical parameters, cost, and the timeline for delivery of the military equipment.
The Armament Agency indicates that it is seeking a platform in the class of the Ukrainian Magura V7 unmanned maritime systems, which are an air-defense variant armed with two AIM-9M Sidewinder missiles and a machine gun for self-defense.
