2025: An Anniversary Year for Fabryka Broni

The year 2025 was exceptional and groundbreaking for Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom. The 100th anniversary of the Polish arms manufacturer became not only an opportunity to reflect on its rich history, but also a catalyst for intensified business, investment, and image-building activities.

The anniversary year began with the launch of a campaign promoting the 100th years of the Fabryka Broni. In January, the anniversary logo was unveiled, along with elements of visual identity in the urban space and a calendar of events planned for the entire year. These efforts consistently built awareness of the importance of the Fabryka Broni for Radom and for national security.

The anniversary year was a special moment for us – a time to reflect on the one-hundred-year history of the Arms Factory, but above all a period of very intensive work and responsible decisions for the future. It was a year in which tradition met modernity, and the jubilee became an impulse for the Company’s further development,” emphasizes Seweryn Figurski, President of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.

THE GRAND JUBILEE GALA, PICNIC, CONCERT, AND…

In the following months, subsequent stages of the anniversary celebrations were carried out. In April, a cast sculpture of the flagship product of the Fabryka Broni – the MSBS GROT rifle – was unveiled on one of Radom’s main streets, becoming a symbolic accent in the urban space. It was created as part of the “Symbols of Radom” initiative. In May, an installation promoting the plant’s 100th anniversary appeared on the theater building.

The anniversary celebrations reached their culmination in June. During this time, the exhibition “100 Years of the Fabryka Broni” was opened, a ceremonial Jubilee Gala was organized, a picnic for residents combined with a concert by star performers was held, and the 100th Anniversary Fabryka Broni Run took place. These events brought together the company’s history with the integration of the local community and the celebration of a shared heritage.

A Diamond of Tradition Shone for Three Days – the Fabryka Broni Delighted Radom

As part of the celebrations, the shooting competition “Diamond of Precision – 100 Years of Accuracy” was also held, bringing together shooting enthusiasts and industry professionals. The event underscored the sporting and integrative character of the company’s activities, as well as its long-standing ties with the shooting community.

An important element of the jubilee communication was also the premiere of a unique animation presenting the 100-year history of the Fabryka Broni, its development, and its importance to national security. The modern form of storytelling generated strong audience interest.

The domestic civilian market also welcomed a anniversary, limited-edition reissue of the VIS wz. 35 pistol, which sold out almost immediately. Offered together with elegant, collector-grade packaging, the product was particularly attractive to firearms enthusiasts, especially those interested in historical weapons.

SALES ACTIVITY

The year 2025 was also a period of commercial activity. In February, Fabryka Broni signed a contract to supply 250 MSBS GROT C16 FB-A2 carbines in 5.56×45 mm caliber, to the Border Guard, confirming the trust that state services place in designs developed in Radom.

More MSBS GROT Carbines for the Border Guard

At the same time, the offer for the civilian market was further developed. Products released for sale included the GROT S16 FB-M1 carbines, the MSBS GROT .308 S20 semi-automatic rifle, as well as the once again available BERYL S762 and Mini Beryl S223 models. In the fall, the lineup was expanded with additional versions of the MSBS GROT .308 (S16 and S20).

In 2025, long-awaited conversion kits for the MSBS GROT 10″ and 16″ were also released, enabling users to switch from a classic carbine configuration to a bullpup layout. This solution generated very strong interest among users.

The anniversary year also brought significant product premieres. The Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol (MPS) officially debuted on the market and was widely showcased at industry events. Once made available for sale, it sold out very quickly among civilian firearms users.

We are consistently developing our product portfolio, responding both to the needs of uniformed services and the civilian market. The anniversary year demonstrated that our designs enjoy strong interest and customer trust, which for us is the best confirmation that the chosen strategy is correct,” said Jakub Czułba, Member of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom.

EXPANSION AND PROMOTION – INTERNATIONAL TRADE FAIRS

An important aspect of 2025 was the strong international presence of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom at the most significant global defense trade fairs. The company showcased its product portfolio as well as its century-long history and tradition at events of worldwide importance, such as SHOT Show in Las Vegas, Indo Defence 2025 Expo & Forum in Jakarta, DSEI Japan, and the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) exhibition in London. Fabryka Broni participated in these events in cooperation with Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, presenting, among others, MSBS GROT family carbines, BERYL carbines, VIS 100 and VIS 100 M1 pistols, and the Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol (MPS).

IMPORTANT VISITORS AT THE FACTORY

In 2025, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom also hosted numerous domestic and international delegations, confirming the company’s growing importance on the international stage and its key role in the national security system. The facility welcomed, among others, delegations of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Military Diplomatic Corps accredited in Poland, ambassadors of the Baltic states, participants of the prestigious SERA’36 training program, representatives of the academic community, including the Military University of Technology and the War Studies University, as well as members of parliament, including the Sejm National Defence Committee.

Guests were introduced to the modern machinery park, production processes, and the company’s portfolio, in particular MSBS GROT carbines, VIS pistols, and the Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol (MPS). They also had the opportunity to test the weapons in practical shooting sessions at the range. These visits provided an opportunity for substantive discussions on the development of the defense industry, armed forces modernization, international cooperation, and the further strengthening of the defense capabilities of Poland and its partners.

GROTOWISKO – NEW EXPERIENCES AND IDEAS

The anniversary year also included events aimed directly at weapons users. Another edition of Grotowisko – an event organized by the Territorial Defence Forces Command in cooperation with Fabryka Broni – brought together shooting enthusiasts, instructors, industry representatives, and above all soldiers of the Territorial Defence Forces. Participants had the opportunity to practically test MSBS GROT family carbines and engage in direct discussions with designers and specialists from Fabryka Broni. Grotowisko 2025 once again confirmed the importance of dialogue with users and the role of shooting experience in the further development of the company’s products.

DIALOGUE WITH USERS

In 2025, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom actively participated in key domestic industry, expert, and professional events. The company was present at, among others, the Polish Defence Industry Forum 2025, the “Foundations of Security 2025/2026” conference, and industry and shooting events such as GUN BAZAR, the international “Łupkowskie Strzelby” competition, and the “Snajper 2025” competition in Biedrusko, as well as initiatives aimed at uniformed services and commercial partners.

Fabryka Broni presented its products – including MSBS GROT carbines, VIS pistols, and the Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol (MPS) – while engaging in dialogue with end users, decision-makers, and the expert community. An important element of this activity was also participation in job fairs, enabling direct meetings with young specialists interested in careers in the defense sector. These efforts confirmed the company’s commitment to the development of the domestic defense industry, relationship building, and strengthening national security capabilities.

DEFENDER AWARD FOR FABRYKA BRONI

Fabryka Broni once again presented its offer at the International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO 2025, where, alongside modern MSBS GROT family designs and the Modular Semi-Automatic Pistol, historical firearms were also displayed, emphasizing the continuity of the company’s hundred-year tradition.

During the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce, Fabryka Broni was honored with the prestigious DEFENDER Award for the MSBS GROT standard carbine system in both classic and bullpup configurations, equipped with an under-barrel modular grenade launcher.

The DEFENDER Award is one of the most important distinctions in the Polish defense industry, granted during MSPO in Kielce. It is awarded to products and solutions of particular importance to national security that stand out for innovation, modernity, and the potential for implementation in the Armed Forces and other formations. Winners are selected by a Program Council composed of representatives of the military, academia, and the defense industry, recognizing, among others, military equipment, weapons systems, technologies, and IT and logistics solutions.

DEFENDER was not the only award received by the company during the International Defence Industry Exhibition. Together with a consortium including the Military University of Technology, Fabryka Broni was also recognized in the “Innovative Product” category with a Class I award for the 5.56 mm MSBS GROT standard carbine with a 40 mm under-barrel grenade launcher, as well as in the “Innovative Company” category in the Leader of Security competition.

During this year’s MSPO, on September 2, 2025, a contract was also signed between the State Treasury – Armament Agency and Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom for the delivery of additional 5.56 mm MSBS GROT carbines. The contract, valued at 307 million PLN, covers the delivery of 23,000 weapon sets to the Polish Armed Forces in 2027–2028. This represents the execution of an option provided for in the agreement concluded with the Armament Agency on December 19, 2024.

INVESTMENTS AND DEVELOPMENT

The culmination of the anniversary year was the opening of a new production hall. Thanks to this investment, Fabryka Broni’s production capacity will increase to approximately 80,000 firearms annually starting in 2026, in line with current and projected needs of the Ministry of National Defence.

The new facility, with a total usable floor area of 3,513.53 m² and a cubic capacity exceeding 21,000 m³, was designed to increase production and warehousing capabilities as well as to create comfortable administrative and social spaces. The value of the investment exceeded 31 million PLN gross. The newly opened hall incorporates solutions intended to enable further automation and robotization of processes, while at the same time increasing workplace safety and employee comfort.

A New Hall, Greater Capabilities. The Arms Factory Ready to Increase Production

The expansion of infrastructure is a key element of the company’s long-term development strategy, focused on increasing efficiency, ensuring security of supply, and maintaining readiness to execute further domestic and international contracts. In 2025, the Arms Factory also strengthened cooperation with experts in innovation and advanced technologies.

A significant achievement in 2025 was obtaining certification from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which approved the MSBS GROT Pistol with three barrel variants – 10.5”, 13”, and 14.5” – for sale on the U.S. civilian market. The firearms will be available through the American distributor Arms of America.

MSBS GROT Pistol for the U.S. Market

The year 2025 entered the history of Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom as a time of jubilee celebrations, dynamic growth, major investments, international expansion, and responsible social initiatives. It was a year that not only summarized 100 years of the company’s operations, but also clearly defined the directions for its further development.

STRATEGY FOR 2026–2035

As it closed the anniversary year, Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom adopted a new Development Strategy for 2026–2035, setting the directions for the company’s continued long-term growth. The document responds to changing security conditions, the growing needs of the Polish Armed Forces, and the strengthening export position of the Polish defense industry.

The strategy assumes further development and diversification of the product portfolio, investments in advanced technologies, automation and robotization of production processes, and the consistent expansion of manufacturing capacity. An important component is also the intensification of export activities, the strengthening of relationships with international partners, and the development of cooperation with domestic and international research and development centers.

The new strategy also places strong emphasis on dialogue with end users, the development of employee competencies, and responsible management that combines the company’s century-long tradition with a modern approach to innovation and security. The adopted assumptions are intended to ensure stable growth for the company in the coming decade and to strengthen its role as one of the pillars of the national defense system.

2025 was an exceptional year for Fabryka Broni Łucznik-Radom. The 100th anniversary became not only an opportunity to summarize our rich history, but above all an impulse for further dynamic development. Recent months have brought intensive commercial activity, product premieres, a presence at key industry events at home and abroad, and the implementation of major investments increasing our production capacity. All of these activities confirmed the strong position of Fabryka Broni as one of the pillars of the Polish defense industry and set the directions for the company’s further development, focused on innovation, exports, and strengthening the security of the Republic of Poland,” emphasizes Seweryn Figurski, President of the Management Board of Fabryka Broni.
