MSBS GROT Pistol for the U.S. Market

According to Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom, the MSBS GROT Pistol with three barrel variants has received certification from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), allowing it to be sold on the U.S. civilian market. The ATF determined that the firearm may be imported into the United States, as it meets the requirements of the 1968 Gun Control Act (GCA).

MSBS GROT for the U.S. Commercial Market

On December 11, 2025, Fabryka Broni “Łucznik” Radom issued an official statement announcing the approved certification of a special version of the MSBS GROT semi-automatic rifle, enabling its export to the United States. The rifle, adapted to U.S. requirements, had to undergo a comprehensive analysis conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

ATF certification is not just an administrative decision. It is also a confirmation of the quality and maturity of our design, supported by a detailed analysis. It signals that the development path chosen by Fabryka Broni is the right one. At the same time, we are pleased that even before the launch of GROT sales on the American market, we are already seeing real interest in the model from local commercial partners and the shooting community.

Special Version – MSBS GROT Pistol

As the manufacturer reports, a long and demanding process was undertaken to make this possible, allowing American shooters to benefit from another Polish-made firearm. Most importantly, the MSBS GROT rifle had to be adapted to meet the legal requirements of the U.S. commercial market.

This entire process — from adapting production to meeting federal regulations — shows how long and demanding the path we have taken has been. It involved not only formal matters, but also a change in approach, the implementation of new quality standards, full adjustment of documentation, and the completion of numerous inspection procedures, all of which have opened the door for us to enter the American market.

The MSBS GROT Pistol will be introduced to the U.S. market in three barrel variants:

10.5 inch (266 mm),
13 inch (330 mm),
14.5 inch (368 mm).

The distribution of the Polish rifle will be handled by the manufacturer’s official U.S. distributor — Arms of America.

Americans Interested in the MSBS GROT

As a modular design, the MSBS GROT Pistol is expected to serve as an alternative to the dominant AR-15 platform on the U.S. market. According to Fabryka Broni, their yearly participation in the SHOT Show has shown that the MSBS family of rifles attracts considerable interest among Americans. Numerous inquiries about the rifle’s availability in the U.S. market ultimately led to the development of this new, special version.

After obtaining ATF certification, Fabryka Broni began preparations for production dedicated to the U.S. market, and the availability of the model will be announced gradually as manufacturing and logistics progress. The final configuration of the product offered in the United States remains at the discretion of the distributor.
