On Thursday, 9 October 2025, Fabryka Broni Łucznik–Radom, part of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), announced on social media that the semi-automatic Grot .308 marksman rifles with 16-inch (S16) and 20-inch (S20) barrels are now available through distributors.

The previous announcement regarding the availability of civilian MSBS Grot .308 S20 rifles was published on 10 March this year, at a price of PLN 17,770.
The MSBS Grot .308 is a modern rifle for civilian users, manufactured in accordance with the quality standards applied to military-grade products. The Grot is a semi-automatic, centerfire rifle with an SA (semi-automatic) trigger mechanism allowing only single-shot fire.
The Grot .308 is equipped with a mounting rail integrated with the upper receiver, manufactured according to the STANAG 4694 (Picatinny) standard, allowing installation of various types of aiming devices (mechanical and optoelectronic). It has a handguard that enables mounting multiple accessories using the M-LOK system.
The rifle is equipped with:
- a fluted barrel, 16 or 20 inches long,
- a modular M-LOK handguard with detachable Picatinny rails for attaching accessories,
- a precision telescopic stock with adjustable length and cheek-rest height,
- a flash suppressor/muzzle brake with a jam nut, mounted on an M18x1 thread (with the option to replace it with compatible aftermarket devices).
The rifle is characterized by high ergonomics. It is fully suitable for both right- and left-handed shooters, as all controls (bolt catch, charging-handle latch, magazine release, charging handle) are symmetrically placed on both sides of the weapon. The user can quickly switch the direction of case ejection, to the left or right, using tools included in the cleaning kit.
