By decision of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, effective 13 October 2025, Col. Marcin Siudziński – previously the commander of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade (11. MBOT) – has been appointed Deputy Commander of the Territorial Defence Forces (DWOT).

Col. Marcin Siudziński began his military service in 1995 and is a graduate of the Higher Officer School of Artillery in Toruń. Since 1999, he served with the 18th Air Assault Battalion in Bielsko-Biała as a fire platoon commander. In 2007, he joined the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, initially as a personnel officer in the 25th Command Battalion.
From 2008 to 2017, he served with the 7th Air Cavalry Battalion, where he held positions including support company commander, battalion chief of staff, reconnaissance section chief, and deputy commander – chief of staff. In the meantime, between 2014 and 2015, he served as head of the training section at the 25th Air Cavalry Brigade Headquarters, and from 2015 to 2016 as deputy commander – chief of staff of the 1st Air Cavalry Battalion.
He also took part in foreign deployments as part of the Polish Military Contingent in the Republic of Iraq and twice in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. From 2018 to 2021, he served as chief of staff and later deputy commander of the 9th Łódź Territorial Defence Brigade, followed by an assignment to the Territorial Defence Forces Command in Zegrze. On 18 October 2021, he was appointed commander of the 11th Małopolska Territorial Defence Brigade.
Col. Siudziński has been awarded, among others, the Iraq Star, Afghanistan Star, the Silver Medal of the Armed Forces for Long Service, and the Bronze Medal of Merit for National Defence.
Earlier, effective 1 October 2025, Col. Jarosław Kowalski, the former commander of the 4th Warmian-Masurian Territorial Defence Brigade, was appointed First Deputy Commander of the Territorial Defence Forces.
Decyzją Wicepremiera, Ministra Obrony Narodowej Władysława Kosiniaka-Kamysza, z dniem 13 października 2025 roku na stanowisko Zastępcy Dowódcy Wojsk Obrony Terytorialnej został wyznaczony płk Marcin Siudziński, dotychczasowy Dowódca 11 Małopolskiej Brygady OT.
