On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, WB Group President Piotr Wojciechowski hosted a high-level delegation from the Philippine Department of National Defense, led by Undersecretary for Acquisition and Resource Management Salvador Melchor B. The visit took place at a particularly important moment in the development of relations between Poland and the Philippines, following the inauguration of the Polish-Philippine Joint Defence Cooperation Committee (JDCC). The JDCC marks a new stage in bilateral security cooperation and provides a framework for deepening dialogue between the two countries’ governments and defense industries.
“We are pleased to welcome representatives of the Philippine Department of National Defense and present our systems, with particular emphasis on unmanned reconnaissance and strike solutions across the maritime, land and air domains, as well as secure military communications” – said Piotr Wojciechowski, President of WB GROUP.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the development of industrial cooperation and the expansion of WB Group’s presence in Southeast Asia. The region remains one of the key directions of the Group’s international activities, both in terms of cooperation between manufacturing companies and engagement with users of the systems it develops.
The Philippine delegation was introduced to WB Group’s flagship solutions for the armed forces. The visitors were given a detailed presentation of Polish-developed unmanned systems, military communications and command-and-control solutions, as well as experience gained from their use under actual combat conditions.
WB Group is steadily expanding its presence in Southeast Asia by working with regional partners and implementing projects in countries including Malaysia and Indonesia. Relations are also being developed with other countries interested in modern multi-domain reconnaissance and strike systems and military radio communications (Polish-made BSP FlyEye drones have entered service with the Malaysian armed forces).
Partnerships in Southeast Asia form part of WB Group’s international strategy. Meetings with representatives of the governments and armed forces of allied countries are an important element in building long-term relationships and identifying new areas of cooperation.
For context, meetings forming part of the first session of the Polish-Philippine Joint Defence Cooperation Committee were held in Warsaw on July 21–22, 2026, at the Department of Military Foreign Affairs of the Polish Ministry of National Defence and at the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces.
