„Piotr Wojciechowski, President of WB Group, hosted representatives of the Embassy of Japan in Poland. Japanese Ambassador Akira Kono and Defense Attaché Col. Kagami Mamoru had the opportunity to learn about solutions developed by the group’s companies in the areas of command, communications, and armed forces reconnaissance systems. The guests showed particular interest in unmanned aerial platforms.
The talks also concerned potential directions for bilateral Polish-Japanese technological and industrial cooperation. WB Group has for years been developing its presence in the East Asian region, cooperating with partners from the defense and security sector and delivering advanced technologies.”

The company is Poland’s largest private defense enterprise. During the visit, the delegation received briefings on various topics, including the characteristics of command-and-control systems and unmanned aerial vehicles developed by the group’s companies, and held an active exchange of views.
Further development of cooperation between Japan and Poland in the field of defense equipment is expected.”
