On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, during the 33rd International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO in Kielce, an agreement was signed between the Minister of National Defence and the League of National Defence (LOK) association. The aim of the cooperation is joint action in the field of national defense, as well as promoting defense knowledge and skills essential to state security within society, particularly among school and university students.

“We are a Ministry open to cooperation with all who wish to contribute to the defense of the Republic of Poland. This is a change. This is our concept of openness – cooperation with the Polish Hunting Association, Volunteer Fire Brigades, and today with the League of National Defence. The League has structures in every region. Importantly, it also has excellent shooting ranges, used not only by soldiers but by anyone who wants to improve their skills. The resilience of the Polish state is built on a strong society. There is no secure Poland without the strength of Polish society. We will not achieve these capabilities unless we foster awareness and skills. Not everyone will be a soldier of the Polish Armed Forces, but everyone is called to defend the homeland and care for its security,” said the Minister of National Defence after signing the agreement.
“We are open to cooperation with veterans’ and combatants’ organizations, with those who have experience in military service. Today we confirm a very important fact. I expect that the outcome will be the development of marksmanship skills, but also the building of patriotic formation, responsibility, and the education of young people. Your nationwide structures, the tradition you carry, and your experience in engaging young people – this is what unites us,” added the Deputy Prime Minister.
