Poland’s defense industry stands at a turning point today – the coming years will determine its position in Europe. In this context, on Thursday, March 26, 2026, the largest Polish manufacturers from a sector accounting for one percent of Poland’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) met in Warsaw. The discussions focused on the need to professionalize industry cooperation and to establish a representative dialogue with public administration.

The meeting, held at WB Group’s premises, was attended by representatives of leading companies in Poland’s defense sector, including the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ), WB Group (comprising WB Electronics, Arex, Flytronic, MindMade, PolCam, Radmor, WB America, WB Technologies, WB Ukraine, WB India, Centrum Kompozytów, and PN Standard), AMZ-Kutno, ICEYE Polska, PONAR Wadowice, Radiotechnika Marketing, Advanced Protection Systems (APS), Creotech, Lubawa Group (including Lubawa, Litex Promo, Miranda, and Effect-System), and Teldat.
During the discussions, participants emphasized the importance of systematically strengthening the capabilities of domestic defense companies. It was noted that the development of the sector is a key element in building the state’s capacity in the field of security, as well as in reinforcing its industrial base.

Industry representatives pointed to the importance of a stable and predictable regulatory environment, including in the areas of public procurement planning, access to financial instruments, and participation in European programs.
This was another meeting held as part of a platform aimed at strengthening cooperation between state-owned and private defense companies. The first took place at the end of February 2026 at PGZ headquarters (Joint position of the Polish defense industry on the EU SAFE mechanism).
