The Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry brings together exhibition organizers and venue operators, as well as companies specializing in stand design and construction, marketing, transport, and IT services. It comprises a total of 70 members. The core of the industry consists of exhibition centers. The vast majority, as much as 70% of the total leased exhibition space, is held by Międzynarodowe Targi Poznańskie (MTP) and Targi Kielce.
The profit structure looks somewhat different. The latest available data (from 2024) show that the Kielce center outperformed the competition, achieving a profit of 18 million PLN. The next result belongs to ZIAD Bielsko-Biała, organizer of Energetab, the center generated 2.2 million PLN in profit. Third place in the ranking went to Targi w Krakowie with a profit of 46,000 PLN. MTP, with a loss of more than 14 million PLN, ranked second to last. Only Ptak Warsaw Expo recorded a larger loss of 18 million PLN.
The strong financial performance of the Kielce center has remained stable for several years, thanks in part to a diversified portfolio and also to the venue’s industry specialization, the center is a leader in the defense sector, uniformed services events, and industrial trade fairs. It offers a broad range of B2B events, some of which have already established a strong market position, while others are successfully building theirs. Thanks to the venue’s stable financial situation, it was possible to launch the largest investment of the past decade, the construction of an 18,500-square-meter exhibition hall, scheduled for completion in June of this year.
