The meeting was chaired by Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda, responsible for overseeing the technical modernization of the Polish Armed Forces. During the meeting, a summary and conclusions from the previous edition were presented, and the assumptions and priorities for the upcoming edition of the exhibition were defined. MSPO is a well-established global brand, and this year’s exhibition promises to be very promising.
The International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO is one of the three largest defense industry events in Europe. The previous edition hosted more than 800 exhibitors from 35 countries, with nearly 40,000 visitors, including representatives of armed forces, government administrations, and the defense industry from around the world.
The President of the Republic of Poland and Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Karol Nawrocki, has granted the 34th MSPO his honorary patronage. Presidential patronage is an expression of recognition for the exhibition’s role as a platform for dialogue among representatives of government, the military, industry, and academia, and it also confirms the importance of international cooperation in the fields of security and advanced technologies. In previous years, the event was held under the patronage of President Andrzej Duda.
This year, Canada has been designated as the Lead Country of MSPO.
In 2026, MSPO will occupy all exhibition halls of Targi Kielce, including a brand-new exhibition hall with an area of 15,500 m² and a height of 15 meters, the construction of which is scheduled for completion in the summer of next year. The cornerstone for the new hall was laid on October 3, 2025, and on January 12, 2026, Targi Kielce received a 10-year loan of 55 million PLN from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, enabling continued financing of the project.
The official opening of the new hall is planned to take place during MSPO 2026. It will be the largest facility of its kind currently under construction in Poland’s trade fair sector, significantly expanding exhibition space and allowing for the presentation of even more modern technologies, from cybersecurity to unmanned systems.
The 34th edition of MSPO is scheduled to take place from September 8 to 11, 2026.
