The Exhibition at the Heart of Industrial and Geopolitical Reorganization
Four months before opening day, Eurosatory 2026 is already shaping up to be a pivotal edition. All of the exhibition’s historic sectors are experiencing strong growth. This momentum accompanies a structural shift: the event now extends beyond the traditional industrial and technological foundations of defense to fully embrace digital, responsible, and sovereign economies. The rise in industrial cooperation, the emergence of open standards, both in hardware and software, and the powerful resurgence of manufacturing alongside a consistently high-performing technology sector reflect a genuine paradigm shift. The 2026 edition signals a transition from a start-up ecosystem to industrial deep tech: agile, reconfigurable, and robust, with influence reaching far beyond the defense sector. In this context, Eurosatory reaffirms its global leadership across the full spectrum of challenges facing nations: defense, homeland security, and civil protection. This transformation is also reflected in the nature of the innovations showcased at the exhibition. Computing power, miniaturization, artificial intelligence, new materials, and scientific convergence are shaping an event that helps define the future contours of the sector. New players illustrate the acceleration of innovation in remote warfare, low-cost/high-tech challenges, and the industrialization of defense systems. Eurosatory has thus become a strategic showcase enabling nations to rethink their industrial capabilities at the intersection of military, civilian, and humanitarian applications.
Highlights Closely Aligned with Operational Reality
Eurosatory 2026 places operational experience at the core of its concept. The exhibition will feature a high-level program of lectures, keynote addresses, and roundtables bringing together political leaders, military officials, industry stakeholders, and international experts. Across more than 100 conferences and debates, the major transformations in defense and security will be analyzed – from multi-domain superiority to industrial resilience, including unmanned warfare, air mobility, and crisis management. Live demonstrations will be among the highlights of the 2026 edition. Designed to reflect real combat conditions, they will present scenarios inspired by contemporary situations: trench warfare, three-dimensional environments integrating drones and autonomous systems, close-quarters battle (CQB), and security threats such as natural disasters, health crises, and terrorism. These demonstrations will give delegations and decision-makers concrete insight into operational capabilities, offering an illustrated understanding of developments on the ground.
Redesigned and Enhanced Flagship Areas
Several key areas will make Eurosatory 2026 a truly immersive experience. The Helicopter Area, launched in 2024 and expanded in 2026, will host a static aircraft display, highlighting the role of air mobility, rotorcraft, and unmanned systems in operations. In 2026, Eurosatory will strengthen and expand its Technology Clusters, central reference points within the exhibition, to better reflect changes in the defense and security sectors. Reorganized around shared themes, these hubs—Drones and Robotics, Cybersecurity and Information Systems, CBRNE, and Financing – will provide a clearer overview of the exhibition offering, making it easier to identify key players and create targeted visitor pathways tailored to the industrial and operational challenges of 2026. Finally, Eurosatory 2026 will reaffirm its pioneering role in promoting dual-use capabilities to support populations through the HELPED (Humanitarian Emergency Logistics and Environmental Development) program. Over the past six years, this original initiative has highlighted the recognition of climate change impacts as a major issue and the need for a comprehensive approach to humanitarian and environmental response in the face of increasingly frequent crises: demining, decontamination, logistics, aid to affected populations, and reconstruction of disaster-stricken areas. Going beyond a purely industrial dimension, HELPED establishes itself as a structured and sustainable approach, offering credible alternatives to traditional intervention models and paving the way for new forms of institutional and private cooperation in responding to humanitarian, environmental, and conflict-related crises.
Innovation, Breakthrough Technologies, and Industrial Sovereignty
Innovation lies at the core of the new forms of conflict shaping today’s world. Eurosatory 2026 places it at center stage through the Eurosatory Lab, a space dedicated to start-ups, innovative SMEs, and breakthrough technologies – a true showcase of innovation presenting solutions already shaping new defense capabilities. The Additive Manufacturing Village, located in Hall 4, will be one of the major new features of the 2026 edition. It will bring together around fifteen companies specializing in 3D printing for defense, illustrating the challenges of industrial resilience, sovereignty, and rapid production close to operational theaters. A new Technology Cluster dedicated to defense financing and economics will complete this ecosystem, shedding light on issues related to capability funding, innovation, and industrial scaling. By placing demonstrations and its flagship areas at the heart of the 2026 edition, Eurosatory reaffirms its core mission: to be the place where operational needs, industrial capabilities, and strategic decisions converge. Eurosatory is more than just an exhibition. It offers unique solutions and proves itself to be both an operational and strategic platform serving nations, armed forces, and the defense and security industries at a time of shifting international balances.
About Eurosatory
Eurosatory is a global benchmark event in the field of defense and security, covering land and air systems. The exhibition is organized by Coges Events, a subsidiary of GICAT (Groupement des Industries Françaises de Défense et de Sécurité Terrestres et Aéroterrestres) and a member of the French Defense Industry Council CIDEF (Centre International d’Études Françaises). Eurosatory’s mission is to support transformation in defense and security in response to the challenges facing today’s world and all types of crises. As a leading connector within the international community, Eurosatory brings together every two years more than 100,000 professionals involved in defense, security, and crisis management – companies, governments, military personnel, institutions, private stakeholders, and supranational organizations. The next edition will take place from June 15–19, 2026, at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center (France).
