On Friday, February 6, 2026, the Ministry of National Defence announced that the Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems (IWBSU) of the General Command of the Armed Forces (DG RSZ) is launching a call for submissions from manufacturers of unmanned solutions regarding the organization and procedures for testing within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

Announcement No. 1/ZBLSU/2026 regarding the acquisition of technical solutions in the field of unmanned ground weapon systems
Pursuant to Decision No. 123/MON of the Minister of National Defence dated September 12, 2025, the Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems of the General Command of the Armed Forces announces a procedure for the submission of applications from manufacturers of unmanned ground systems concerning the organization and testing procedures within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.
The Decision regulates the procedure and division of responsibilities with regard to the testing of unmanned aerial vehicles and unmanned weapon systems, as well as counter-UAV systems and counter-unmanned weapon systems within the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland, based on the following principles:
- Tests will be decentralized and may be conducted simultaneously at multiple locations across the country.
- Tests will be conducted in a fair, transparent, and competitive manner.
- Entities providing technical test solutions will be subject to simplified vetting by the relevant services, ensuring counterintelligence protection.
- The Inspectorate of Unmanned Weapon Systems (IWBSU) of the General Command of the Armed Forces is responsible for the verification and formal and substantive evaluation of submitted applications.
Completed applications must be submitted by February 27, 2026, to: ZBLSU_DGRSZ@ron.mil.pl and iwbsu@ron.mil.pl (the announcement number must be included in the email subject line).
