M&P 22X Features
Slide Assembly
As expected from a pistol chambered in .22LR, the slide is made of aluminum with a black anodized finish. It features the characteristic M&P design contours, although it lacks front serrations. The iron sights include a HiViz LiteWave H3 front sight with a green fiber optic insert, and a serrated rear sight. In line with current standards, the slide is equipped with a mounting cut for a red dot sight.
The stainless steel barrel measures 4.1 inches (104 mm) in length, has a 1:15-inch (381 mm) twist rate, and features an ArmorNite finish. An optional thread adapter for muzzle devices is included in the package.
Frame Assembly
The polymer frame of the M&P 22X features textured grip surfaces. The controls are ambidextrous-friendly, the thumb safety and magazine release are also located on the right side, and the magazine release can be easily reversed. The frame ends with a standard Picatinny rail.
The pistol is fed from high-capacity 20-round magazines (two included), each equipped with an oversized base plate.
