Quantum Systems is already operating through Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI), the first German-Ukrainian joint venture with Ukraine’s Frontline Robotics under the Build with Ukraine initiative, based in Munich. The cooperation with Frontline Robotics currently includes the production in Germany of 10,000 Linza 3.0 multi-role quadcopter drones for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with the first delivery completed in late March 2026.
Two further Quantum Systems joint ventures are expected to be announced soon, with details to follow.
Matthias Lehna, Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries, said Quantum Systems is playing a leading role in German-Ukrainian industrial cooperation. He noted that the company’s QFI joint venture demonstrates how production capacity can be established in Germany within just a few weeks and how operational systems can then be delivered to Ukraine. He added that the company sees this cooperation as a foundation for Europe’s future defence capabilities.
UPDATE
As announced, the details were published in a subsequent press release.

During the Ukrainian-German government consultations, Quantum Systems announced the creation of two additional joint ventures under the Build with Ukraine initiative.
- Quantum WIY Industries (QWI) will strengthen Ukraine’s air defense together with Ukrainian partner company WIY Drones.
- Quantum Tencore Industries (QTI) will focus on the production of unmanned ground systems together with Ukrainian partner company Tencore.
Strengthening Ukraine’s Air Defense: Quantum WIY Industries
Quantum WIY Industries (QWI) builds on the recently announced partnership between Quantum Systems and WIY Drones. The joint venture will focus on developing and scaling air defense capabilities, particularly in the area of interceptor drones and related technologies.
“From the very beginning, the mission of our company has been protection — of our country, our infrastructure, our homes, and ultimately the world from attacks. What may seem like just a small signature on the paper is a contribution towards making the sky over Ukraine safer. We are truly grateful to our German partners and the team at Quantum Systems for making this possible and for their trust and support,” said the CTO of WIY Drones.
The creation of QWI follows an order placed with Quantum Systems by the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the delivery of 15,000 Strila interceptor drones.
Unmanned Ground Systems: Quantum Tencore Industries
Quantum Tencore Industries (QTI) marks an expansion of Quantum Systems’ Build with Ukraine initiative into the land domain. In cooperation with Tencore, the joint venture will focus on scaling the production of battle-proven unmanned ground systems.
The initiative is part of Quantum Systems’ broader strategy to create a multi-domain portfolio integrating air and ground capabilities within a unified, battle-proven technology ecosystem.
Roman Tkachenko, co-founder and Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) at Tencore, said:
“This partnership is about more than technology – it’s about combining strenghths. No company or country can build the future of unmanned systems alone – only through true partnership do we have a real chance to succeed. Together, we are building solutions that make our countries stronger and, most importantly, help protect and support the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the ground.”
Hendrik Kramer, Vice President Land Domain at Quantum Systems, said:
“The future of defence is multi-domain. With Quantum Tencore Industries, we are bringing together real operational experience from Ukraine with advanced autonomy and industrial capabilities to shape the next generation of ground systems.”
A Success Model: Quantum Frontline Industries
The creation of the two joint ventures is a success of the previously mentioned Quantum Frontline Industries (QFI).
Matthias Lehna, Vice President at Quantum Systems, said:
“Ukraine’s defence demonstrates how critical unmanned systems have become for modern defence. Through our joint ventures and close cooperation with Ukrainian partners, we aim to bring this combat-proven expertise into German and European industrial structures, making a concrete contribution to strengthening defence capabilities in Ukraine and across Europe.”
The decisions to establish the new joint ventures underscore Quantum Systems’ position as a leading company in German-Ukrainian industrial cooperation in the defense sector. The company continues to expand this model across multiple domains, reinforcing its role in strengthening the defense capabilities of Ukraine and allied countries.
