The 4th POLSECURE 2026 International Police and Public Security Fair at Targi Kielce confirmed its position as one of the most important meeting platforms for the security sector in Central and Eastern Europe. This year’s edition brought together 219 companies and institutions from 17 countries, while the event was attended by nearly 6,000 industry visitors. The substantive program included 10 conferences and expert panels. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Minister of the Interior and Administration, and WB Group was POLSECURE’s strategic partner.

Security as cooperation, not reaction
The dominant theme of this year’s debates was a shift in the approach to security: from reactive to systemic and cooperation-based. Experts, Police representatives, and public administration officials emphasized the need to integrate the activities of services and build state resilience.
An important element of the program was the conferences organized by the Police, including the main debate, Together Toward a Safe Future: The Role of the Police in a Changing World, as well as meetings devoted to important areas of the formation’s functioning, such as 100 Years of Sport in the Police: History and the Present Day, and discussions on contemporary social threats, including the online safety of children and young people. The conference program showed the broad spectrum of Police activities, from operational to preventive and social.

New: STRATEXPO and the role of RARS
One of the key elements of this year’s edition was the debut initiative of the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves: the STRATEXPO Civil Protection and Strategic Reserves Exhibition. It is a new space dedicated to building state resilience, managing strategic resources, and cooperating with industry.
RARS actively participated in the substantive program, conducting workshops and panels on the role of strategic reserves, institutional cooperation, and the functioning of the security system in crisis situations.

Business and technology at the center of the system
The fair highlighted the growing role of the private sector. The solutions presented included communications systems, data analytics, unmanned technologies, and critical infrastructure protection. The conclusions were clear: state security is increasingly based on public-private partnership.
Demonstrations and practical operations
Dynamic demonstrations by the services provided a practical complement to the exhibition and debates. Realistic scenarios showed cooperation between various formations and the use of modern technologies in operational activities.
POLSECURE as a system-wide platform
POLSECURE is an event that integrates all elements of the security system, from services and administration to business and academia. The growing scale of the fair and new initiatives such as STRATEXPO show the direction in which the sector is developing and the growing importance of cooperation in building state security.
The importance of the fair was also emphasized by representatives of the services. “I return to Kielce with sentiment, appreciating the significance of this event for the development of modern solutions in uniformed services,” said Chief Superintendent Rafał Kochańczyk, PhD, during the gala concluding POLSECURE 2026.
More events coming soon
Security will also remain a major theme at Targi Kielce in the coming months. The International Defence Industry Exhibition, one of the most important defense-sector events in Europe, will take place on September 8–11, 2026. Next year, in June, Kielce will once again become the center of the rescue industry during KIELCE IFRE-EXPO. The next edition of POLSECURE is scheduled for 2028.
