The contract, worth 10,076,160 PLN gross, was signed on December 2, 2025 with Works 11. The winning bid was selected on November 28 of the same year. The evaluation criteria were price (60%) and quality (40%).
GROM has been using RPG-75-TB/RTG (Reaktivní Termobarický Granát) launchers with thermobaric warheads since 2010. The manufacturer is the Czech company Zeveta Ammunition, part of the ZEVETA Bojkovice a.s. holding.
It is also worth noting that GROM’s inventory includes light, disposable anti-armor launchers, namely the 84 mm Saab AT4 and 68 mm RPG-75 series weapons from Zeveta Ammunition – RPG-75-M (in service since 2017) as well as RPG-75-MP fitted with multi-purpose thermobaric–HEAT warheads.
Unlike the Land Forces and the Territorial Defence Forces, which are replacing RPG-7 launchers with modern disposable Nammo M72 EC Mk 1 systems and reusable Saab Carl Gustaf M4 84 mm launchers (the latter compatible with thermobaric ammunition, although not explicitly listed as such by the manufacturer), GROM follows a different procurement path.
