On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, a meeting was held at the Warsaw office of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) between PGZ President Adam Leszkiewicz and Rafał Modrzewski, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of ICEYE, as well as Witold Witkowicz, Member of the Management Board of ICEYE Poland. The discussions focused on the further development of cooperation in the areas of advanced technologies, satellite solutions, and strengthening capabilities in security and defense.

As stated in the press release, the Polish Armaments Group and ICEYE continue their strong cooperation and are discussing further joint projects and areas of collaboration that could support the development of modern industrial capabilities and innovative solutions for the Polish Armed Forces and other security services. The cooperation officially began in 2023 with a strategic agreement signed at the MSPO defense exhibition in Kielce.
Within a consortium of PGZ, WZŁ-1, and ICEYE, the Mobile Satellite Reconnaissance Platform ISR (MPRS ISR) was developed, designed to operate with satellites equipped with synthetic aperture radar (SAR) as well as optical sensors. The solution enables the Polish military to make rapid decisions based on continuously delivered satellite data, effectively providing “security from orbit” and demonstrating the synergy between state-owned and private industry.
This is of key importance in the context of the MicroSAR Satellite Earth Observation System, recently named POLSARIS, under which the first of three SAR satellites (with an option for three more) was launched on November 28, 2025, as part of the Transporter-15 mission.
In addition, on September 4, 2025, during the 32nd MSPO, ICEYE and the Research and Development Center of the Naval Technology Centre (part of PGZ) signed a letter of intent regarding cooperation in integrating SAR satellite data with tools developed under the Digital Baltic project.
