During the trade fair, PGZ is presenting the UMPG chassis integrated with the TURRA 30 turret, a modern unmanned weapon system developed by Slovakia’s EVPÚ. The presentation of this solution responds to growing international interest in modern, modular combat platforms. The TURRA 30 in its V9 version is a system that has been introduced into production and operational use by the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, confirming its high technological maturity, proven reliability, and operational readiness.

The presentation of the UMPG chassis, which forms the basis of the Borsuk IFV, with the TURRA 30 turret is the result of Polish-Slovak cooperation and is an example of effective partnership based on the exchange of competencies, technologies, and experience. The joint offer from PGZ and EVPÚ is in line with the trend of building European defense capabilities through industrial cooperation and the development of competitive solutions for international markets.
“Participation in IDEB and the presentation of the export variant of the Borsuk IFV in a new, internationalized configuration is an important step in the development of PGZ’s export offer. Together with our Slovak partner, we are offering a proven, modern, and flexible solution that can effectively meet the needs of the armed forces of many countries,” emphasized Arkadiusz Bąk, First Vice President of PGZ.
The Borsuk IFV, which forms the basis of the new proposal, is attracting interest from a number of potential export customers. Borsuk is a next-generation infantry fighting vehicle developed and manufactured entirely in Poland. It is characterized by high mobility and amphibious capabilities while maintaining a high level of protection for the crew and dismounts. Its modular design enables the vehicle to be flexibly adapted to specific user requirements, both in terms of equipment and armament. Since 2025, the Borsuk IFV equipped with the ZSSW-30 turret system has been in service with Polish mechanized troops. Thanks to its low weight and amphibious capabilities, it is an ideal solution for countries seeking lighter tracked platforms, especially those operating in demanding conditions such as sand or wetlands. Depending on customer requirements, the Borsuk IFV can also be fitted with additional armor (Borsuk IFV Undergoes Live-Fire Exercise with Polish Armed Forces).
The TURRA 30 turret is equipped with a 30 mm automatic cannon, with a choice of guns produced by Northrop Grumman or Slovakia’s ZTS Special, a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun, and Spike LR/LR2 anti-tank guided missiles. The system enables effective fire to be conducted day and night, in all weather conditions, while maintaining full protection for the crew inside the vehicle. The use of modern observation and fire-control systems enables precise engagement of a broad spectrum of targets, from armored vehicles to enemy personnel.
The infantry fighting vehicle variant presented in Bratislava confirms PGZ’s ability to develop advanced combat systems combining modern technologies, high performance, and NATO interoperability in line with customer requirements. The demonstrator vehicle presented during the trade fair is intended to showcase the integration capabilities of the IFV chassis developed by Polish industry, which, depending on the requirements of a given country, can be offered with turret systems of Polish, Slovak, or other manufacture.
