The GTK Boxer displayed outdoors was fitted with the latest version of the remotely operated EVPU TURRA 30 turret (the basic version of the turret, equipped with a 30 mm GTS-30/N automatic cannon developed by ZTS-Special, is used on the Slovak Vydra 8×8 IFVs, which are based on the Finnish Patria AMV XP chassis). The TURRA 30 V10 turret was also showcased separately inside the exhibition hall (see photos).
The EVPU TURRA 30 V10 features independent commander and gunner sights with hunter-killer capability, a HARPIA hard-kill active protection system (ASOP) with multifunction radars, an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launch detection and response system powered by artificial intelligence, and a multi-canister VIPER drone launcher (designed for reconnaissance UAVs, electronic warfare, loitering munitions, and counter-UAV operations). It can also optionally be fitted with a miniature Gladius TWIN remote weapon station. The turret is armed with Rafael Spike LR1/2 anti-tank guided missiles with two missiles ready to launch and additional rounds stored inside the turret, which is protected by composite armor offering enhanced ballistic protection.
The main armament remains unchanged: a 30 mm Mk 44 Bushmaster II automatic cannon and a 7.62 mm PKT or FN Minimi machine gun, with an ammunition supply of 600 rounds.
