Inforce Reviews

Once again, Inforce managed to surprise me positively, as a declared fan and user of Streamlight and SureFire products. Both tested INFORCE models won me over with their paddle-style switches, a solution that has been used by other manufacturers for some time as well, but one that was new to me. The switch design allows the thumb and index finger to naturally fall into the correct position when drawing the weapon from the holster. In my opinion, learning to operate the WILD flashlights properly is quicker than with the TLR-1 or X300 models.

But after several weeks of testing, I found myself more open to alternatives beyond the classic Scout. In fact, I now can’t imagine a better fit for my Benelli than the WMLx. Why? Primarily because of that slick “look” – and we all know the saying: “If you look good, you shoot good”. Additionally, thumb activation quickly became second nature, and the flashlight’s lightweight design didn’t negatively impact weapon handling. On the HK MR223, the 12 o’clock position turned out to be the most interesting option, as it kept the weapon’s profile compact. However, with the optic I use, the flashlight’s outline slightly encroached on the sight picture.

What makes this flashlight stand out most is the switch design, which, in terms of ergonomics, beats many competing solutions that require pushing levers up/down or pressing the switch forward or downward. The Inforce WILD1 is made for shooters who prioritize low weight and a slim, compact profile that doesn’t extend beyond the outline of the pistol. And it does all that while offering large nut non-protruding controls and solid light output. The flashlight is simple, sleek, and, to my eye, stylish. In short, it’s an excellent compact light for comfortable everyday carry.

Do you want a scope, a prismatic red dot, or a magnifier? Is it possible to combine their features into a single product? Yes!
You ask, you get it. A combination of different benefits rolled into one. A simple and stable mounting system. Additional accessories, such as tools, a battery, covers, a cleaning cloth, and various screws, make it easy to tailor the Sightmark Strikon VMP 1–4×22 to your needs. On top of that, the manual is clear and easy to understand.

The M1 V2 doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t. It doesn’t try to compete with armored, toaster-sized red dots, nor does it put on any sort of overly “military” seriousness. It’s light, simple, durable, and it just works.
