On Monday, April 20, 2026, B-Act, a NewConnect-listed engineering and consulting company, as the leader of a consortium, signed an agreement with Bydgoskie Zakłady Elektromechaniczne Belma to perform the duties of Contract Engineer and provide investor supervision services during the preparation and implementation of an investment project aimed at developing the production capabilities of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) company for the needs of the National Deterrence and Defense Program – East Shield, as well as the needs of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland. The value of the agreement is approximately 2.0 million PLN gross. Completion of the project is scheduled for the end of 2027.

The agreement will be implemented by a consortium comprising B-Act as leader and Transprojekt Gdański as partner. The implementation of another contract in the defense sector confirms the consortium team’s competence and experience in delivering projects of major importance for Poland’s security.
“Signing this agreement is another important step in implementing our development strategy in the area of infrastructure projects of significance to national security. We are consistently strengthening our position in the defense sector. Participation in a project supporting the development of Belma’s production capabilities, which are important from the perspective of the East Shield program and the needs of the Polish Armed Forces, confirms our competence as a partner in investment implementation. We see growing potential in this segment and intend to further develop our involvement in projects that strengthen Poland’s security,” said Adam Białachowski, president of the management board of B-Act.
The value of the agreement to perform the duties of Contract Engineer and provide investor supervision services is approximately 2.0 million PLN gross, while the entire investment, titled Development of the Production Capabilities of Bydgoskie Zakłady Elektromechaniczne Belma for the Needs of the National Security Plan “East Shield” and the Polish Armed Forces, is financed from the capital investment fund. East Shield is a comprehensive national program to strengthen defense infrastructure on Poland’s eastern border, implemented in 2024–2028. Its main objective is to increase deterrence capabilities, counter hybrid threats, and protect the civilian population by building modern fortifications, surveillance systems, and logistics facilities. The project focuses on securing Poland’s eastern flank.
