Classic design with enhancements
The Helikon Raid shirt was designed with versatility in mind, making it suitable for both urban styling and outdoor wear. Its design prioritized user comfort and functionality.

The classic designs of the U.S. Armed Forces shirts, used during World War II and the Vietnam War (such as the Tropical Combat Uniform and Battle Dress Uniform), served as inspiration. Similar to the SAS Smock jacket, the classic design has been improved with ergonomic and practical enhancements.
Fabric
The shirt is made from breathable and pleasant-to-the-touch PolyCotton Stretch Ripstop material, composed of 48% cotton, 50% polyester, and 2% elastane. The same fabric is used in the SFU Next Mk2 pants. The weight of the shirt is 618 grams.
Cut
The Raid hoodie is 77 cm long in size M and is fastened with buttons. The neck is protected by a standard collar. One of the strong points of the hoodie is its raglan sleeves, which provide greater freedom of movement compared to traditional designs. This is partly due to the absence of a seam over the shoulder, which, when pressed by equipment, could cause discomfort.
The sleeves are equipped with pockets for elbow pads and are finished with cuffs adjustable by hook and loop fasteners.
Pockets
The functionality of the Raid shirt is enhanced by a total of 8 pockets:
- Two chest pockets – sewn at an angle and fastened with Canadian buttons. Inside them are loops for attaching small accessories.
- Internal chest pockets – inside there are two mesh pockets: one with an opening at the top and the other with a side entry secured with a zipper.
- Two shoulder pockets with integrated smaller accessory pockets – these pockets feature a hybrid closure system. They have both fastener panels and Canadian buttons. The user can choose the closure method – if a task requires silence, the fasteners panels can be covered with flaps. On the closed shoulder pockets, there are smaller open quick-access pockets.
