Streamlight Upgrades Trident and Septor Headlamps

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries, the Trident and Septor models offer a slim design with a rugged polycarbonate housing and elastomer overmolding for increased durability in challenging environments — in all weather conditions.

Both models feature:

• a slim, lightweight design for all‑day comfort,
• a 90‑degree tilting head,
• IPX7 waterproof rating — submersion to 1 m for 30 minutes,
• 2‑meter impact resistance,
• a highly durable polycarbonate lens,
• Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F, G; Class III, Temperature Code T4 — safety ratings for use in hazardous locations under the U.S. NEC/CEC system.

With the upgraded Trident, the user can choose between a long‑range spot beam and wide‑area flood lighting. It features a single LED producing a focused beam and three LEDs providing wide illumination, giving users the right option for any task. A single push‑button switch cycles through the modes: one flood LED, three flood LEDs, one spot LED, and off.

In spot mode, the Trident delivers 200 lumens, 4,000 candela, a beam distance of 126 m, and a runtime of 6.5 hours. Using the three flood LEDs, it provides 40 lumens, 40 candela, a 13‑meter beam distance, and up to 14 hours of runtime. With one flood LED, output is 15 lumens, 10 candela, a 6‑meter beam distance, and an extended runtime of 28 hours.

The upgraded Septor is designed for tasks requiring the widest possible illumination. A single reflector with a powerful LED produces a uniform, wide beam ideal for inspection, servicing, and other hands‑free applications. A single switch allows users to choose between Low, Medium, and High modes.

Performance specifications:

• High: 200 lumens, 1,500 candela, beam distance up to 77 m, runtime 5 hours
• Medium: 80 lumens, 600 candela, beam distance up to 49 m, runtime 27 hours
• Low: 25 lumens, 190 candela, beam distance up to 28 m, runtime 55 hours

With included batteries, the Trident weighs 124.17g and the Septor weighs 123.32g. Both models are available in yellow and include elastic head and rubber hard hat straps.
