Dualie Rechargeable ATEX – a handheld flashlight for hazardous locations
The new handheld model features both a focused and a flood beam, which can be used independently or simultaneously, depending on user needs. An integrated belt clip with two built‑in magnets allows the flashlight to be attached to metal surfaces, freeing up both hands.
“Firefighters, industrial and other professionals rely on their flashlights to perform under frequently trying conditions,” said Streamlight President Michael F. Dineen. “The Dualie Rechargeable ATEX provides that assurance when working at scenes where potentially dangerous substances may be present. It’s an ideal lighting solution for industrial, fire, oil and gas and confined space applications.”

Ergonomics and performance
The Dualie Rechargeable ATEX features two separate switches located on opposite sides of the flashlight for intuitive operation, even while wearing protective gloves. It is built with a durable, non‑conductive, corrosion‑resistant polymer housing with a textured, non‑slip surface. Power is supplied by a 3,300 mAh rechargeable lithium‑ion battery. For firefighting applications, it can be mounted on selected helmets using an adjustable adapter.
The model offers three lighting modes:
- Flood beam – 110 lumens, 70 candela, 17 m beam distance, 20‑hour runtime
- Spot beam – 230 lumens, 15,000 candela, 245 m beam distance, 10‑hour runtime
- Combined beam (both simultaneously) – 325 lumens, 7‑hour runtime
Dimensions and durability
